Three years ago my pal Nimbus from Us Three Coons suggested that we work together and start a St. Patrick’s Day Photo Contest. We did just that and were amazed at the purrticipation. Last year on March 17th my pal crossed Over the Rainbow Bridge. I am dedicating the Third Annual St. Patrick’s Day Photo Contest to my pal Nimbus, forever loved and always missed.
Based on suggestions from all of you I am making some changes to the contest this year. Many of you suggested that we have one basic category, so we’re doing just that. Even though we are kitties, we have lots and lots of doggy friends and we want them to be included and feel special too. So this year the categories are:
St. Patrick’s Day – The Kitty Category
St. Patrick’s Day – The Doggy Division
You have a few days yet to plan you photos. Watch for my blog post on Monday, March 5th for details on how to enter. The photos can be real or photoshopped as the whole idea is to have fun. You don’t have to have a blog to enter. The deadline for submitting your photos is Wednesday, March 11th. We will host voting March 12th through March 14th and the winners will be announced on Saturday, March 17th. Get your thinking caps on!

Well we feel terrible that we didn’t see that Zoe had to go to the emergency vet, poor thing. Glad she is all right. That must have been very scary.
We will start getting ready for St. Pats day. That looks like great fun.
Hope Zoe is all right and that all of you have a super Tues.

Hmmmm………St. Paddys Day……..
There must be an “eye” thing going around. First in our house it was Sammy, roaming around with one eye closed most of one day. Then he got over it and for a few hours it was Junior. We all hope Zoe’s eye heals quickly!
