You know we love it when our doors and windows are open. It just seems like the backyard activities are so much more fun to watch. And it tis the season for all kind of things too. What has my interest this time?
One of our neighborhood ferals is having drink out of the bird bath. We have several ferals that several of us take care of and we are trying to do the TNR thingy too. Dad always keeps fresh water in the bird bath for them.
Then, if watching the ferals wasn’t enough, I spotted someone else watch us and watching the ferals too!
This is Sammy, one of our squirrely squirrels who keeps an eye on the ferals. He really doesn’t mind us since we are inside and he will often come up on the deck to chat with us. Yes, it does make the whiskers twitch a bit, but he is a good friend.
That’s it for now, going back to watch the goings on! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh we would be watchin Sammy a LOT!
I haven’t come across a squirrel yet, but I might do eventually as we have some trees at the end of our garden. It is kind of your dad to put water in the bird bath for the ferals, hope they are keeping well.
Alex goes crazy if a feral shows up…. He is very jealous that man…
Love the position of Sammy’s tail. We have quite a number of squirrels at our back alley and the front garden area. And boy, do they like running and chasing, chattering away at the same time!
We hope your Dad is able to TNR the ferals.
We like how you are watching Sammy watching the feral kitty!
We are enjoying this great weather too. Thanks for trying to TNR the feral cats there.
That sure is a good looking black one. Good thing you have Sammy to snoopervise all the goings on in your yard. Hope all of you have one heck of a good day.
Sounds like you have some good outdoor friends!
What a great bird bath for the ferals to get a drink at – we’re sure they appreciate it. Thanks for showing us the pictures Brian.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh MY! I haven’t had the chance to see a feral yet but Admiral got VERY hissy if one came to the door. xox
Wow, you have squrrels as friends? You guys are very lucky!
Don’t you just love all the backyard critters. Do you have chipmunks too? I have one that is my friend and we talk to each other thru the patio door screen. M says he’s thumbing his nose at me because I can’t get him. he he
Lots of excitement in your back garden Brian!!!
OMD…..SQUIRREL!
🙂
our windows got shut again…..something about the temperature being about 30!!
Wow!! What fantastic garden TV, handsome Brian!! Awww big hello to sweet Sammy and yay for a drink of water for the fab ferals!!
You have amazing TV to watch, Brian!
Good luck to your humans (and all those involved) re: the TNR! Universal Blessings to you all for caring so much.
Oops, typed in the wrong URL, but don’t think it matters…..
Whoa! Sammy comes up and dares to mock you?!?! Gramps used to feed the squirrels and they’d come right up to the 2nd floor window to wait. Once one came into the house when Gramma opened the window to feed him. Faith had a great time chasing him until he finally left.
What do the birds say about this 😉
I’m afraid Sammy would be just like all the ones around my house….tease, tease, tease. And all the chasing along the fence is for naught. My kitties wanted to tell you that they love looking out the window too! We have these HUGE crows right now that are almost as big as they are!!
Look at that daring squirrel! WOW.
So cute neighborhoods!!!
Good shot of yous guys and your feral pals. Does they ever come up and talk to yous?
Kozmo has been chasing our squirrels! So has our hairy slobbery sister Cinnamon, me wonders, why do they keep coming back?
Kisses
Nellie
Lots of great things going on in your yard and such good watching.. Enjoy.. Hugs GJ xx
You sure have some great things to look at at your house! 🙂
Thank you for stopping by to wish the mom a happy birthday!
Unfortunately, we did not have a great amount of traffic at the senior cat Sunday event, but this was the first time PAWS tried it. They are going to keep on trying, and we know there are loving homes out there for these awesome older cats. ☺
How cool that you guys are friends with one of the stars of Squirrel TV!
Great Cat T.V.!! So glad your mommy feeds the feral kitties. Our mom does that too. Right now we are having a really hard time trying to catch Foggie. That little booger is so smart..will not go in trap..but we keep trying.
Wow… not one bird in sight, yet you have all sorts of things to watch on your bird tv. Great back yard.
pawhugs, Max
Brian
We think it’s so nice that your Dad has fresh water for those ferals.
We know that they appreciate it too.

We are so glad that your weather finally allows for some outside air and interaction. We are sending White Dog positive energy on the TNR attempts; and thanks for making sure the ferals have fresh water.
I like to talk to the birdies and hit the sliding glass door. One day I shall escape my house arrest, then watch out birdies!
Whisker twitchin’ friends! Love it!
Mmmmmmm, delishus skwerl! Lookit that kitteh! He looks just like me! It is really good that your people look out for him & his posse.
Gosh – looks like you have a lot of fun stuff to watch. It’s good to make new friends! 🙂

We don’t like neighborhood cats visiting, and squirrels drive us crazy too. We go crazy for birds and chipmunks too. Oh well…
That’s a beautiful picture of the panther! I bet that Sammy is a load of fun for you kitties to watch. I miss my squirrels…we don’t have any where we now live.
