Purina was so inspired by the response that they decided to turn the video into a 60-second ad that will air on the Academy of Country Music Awards this Sunday so more cat owners can see it. In addition, beginning on Sunday, they are encouraging cat owners everywhere to share why they are cat people on Twitter.
Even more exciting, from 8 p.m. Sunday to 8 p.m. Monday (Eastern time), Purina Cat Chow will host a live Twitter broadcast on two billboards in New York Times Square. If you share yourr “because” of being a cat owner on Twitter using the #catperson hashtag may have your tweet featured on the billboards. So, if your a #catperson and use Twitter, I would love for you to get involved in sharing your “because” to #catperson! You will see us there as @Brian106sc throughout the evening.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Woot woot Purina!
This sounds very exciting. We aren’t on Twitter and Mom Paula says we probably won’t be because she barely has time to keep up with FB and the CB.
Truffle and Brulee
So true! Actually we tweeted for a bit but gave it up for the same reason your mom hasn’t started. We hope everyone who does has a rollicking good time, though!
Whoa! Pop passes through Times Square. He’ll be able to see them.
COOLNESS!!!!
What a cool idea. I’ll be there.
Have a great time. We’ll forget. We forget everything. We inherited Jan’s bad memory. 🙂
We stopped by and noticed you were at Baby Patches’ fursshoppawty today. We didn’t get to go but we imagine everyone had a good time.
What a cool campaign. Already shared our because @mycatboys! 😀
