Well, I guess it’s time to start another week whether we’re ready or not! I’ve got to tell you, as much as I love whiffy season, there are some drawbacks and some things I’m just not too fond of this time of year. Noise. Loud noisy things. Yesterday Dad was riding around on that thing that mashes down our yard, but not only that, the neighbors on both sides of us were doing the same thing. Then around dark the one neighbor started up this big loud hand-held fan and he kept walking up and down his driveway. Finally when he quit and it was way past bedtime, his little woofie dogs started barking, and they barked and barked way pas 2:00 AM. I think he forgot to put them in for the night. Now I don’t mind the woofies at all, but every time they started barking I ran to the front window to look and see what they were barking at, because their barks didn’t sound too friendly, which is weird for them.
So, guess what this Mancat is going to be doing on Mancat Monday? I’m going to try to catch up on all the sleep I missed yesterday with all the noise all day long. It was supposed to be Easy Like Sunday, not Noisy Like All Day Long! Oh well, such is whiffy season. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh Brian, it does sound like you had too much of the noise stuff yesterday. We think many naps are in order for you. But that was good that you snoopervised everything. Take care.

We had noisy stuff too, all late afternoon and evening–street cleaners with their noisy machine. Can’t think why the City paid them to do that on a Sunday!

Sounds like a nap is certainly in order. We have neighbor woofies like that….mom says stupid people who leave them out until all hours shouldn’t be allowed to have woofies. 🙂 (especially when they bark under the bedroom window)

Poor Brian! Such noisy neighbours you have! Of course, it’s the same here. When Spring arrives everyone is cleaning up their yards and doing all kinds of outdoor projects. Then in summer, there’s all that grass mowing! What a hullabaloo!

I hate when it is noisy here too! Luckily we don’t live right in the center of the city where we would get helicopters and sirens and that sort of stuff. So most of the time it is fairly quiet.
I hear you Brian – loud and clear. I love having the windows open so I can whiff, but I don’t like the noise either. A guy can get grouchy from lack of naps.
I hope you get some peaceful napping in today Brian!!! At our house everyone loves window wiffies, but I think Kip is a little scared of the strange noises too.

You know WE live wiff a woffie…..and he can bark at the least little noise…how irritating!!!

Those poor woofies probably just wanted to go in and go to sleep themselves. We hate loud noise, too, and with the windows open everything seems so much louder (especially at night when even the moths batting against the screens is noisy)! Hope you got lots of rest today.
How do you get any rest there? You can come over here anytime. If no one is playing THoE, its nice and quiet.
