Hmmmmmm, I wonder what might happen if I just reach around this chair with a little whap paw? Do you know who is on the chair? The answer…tomorrow.
Remember last weekend I didn’t get much rest because of all of the noise? Well, this weekend was totally different, it was nice and quiet. We even had the windows open and the loudest noise we heard were the birds singing. And let me tell you, those birds we sure belting it out. We were also pretty excited to get our catnip quilt back. One of the furry sisters deposited a furball on it so that took it out of commission for a little while. Mom washed it up and ironed it to reactivate the catnip and now it’s just as good as new.
Oh, and Sister Zoe got a new flamingo scratcher. Why? Well, they are scratchers and the top part where she lays was getting pretty scratched up. She was real happy to see a new one and took a nice long nap on it too. Well, that is pretty much our weekend update, I hope you all have a terrific week. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Hearing the birdies singing sounds great!
Sounds like busy times over there. Love the idea of a flamingo scratcher…. cool.
pawhugs, max
We had no idea ironing could reactive the nip after a wash. How interesting.
We’ll guess it’s Sister Sascha on the chair…..
We are going to guess Sister Zoe might be in the chair, or is it Gracie?? Glad you got good window whiffins. Can’t wait to see who you are going to whap. Have a great day even if it is Monday.
We are delighted to hear that you got window whiffins this weekend – what a great start to the week. We didn’t know that nip could be made to smell more strongly after ironing – (shouts) “Mum can you do some ironing for us please.”
Luv hannah and Lucy xx xx
Sounds like you had a GREAT weekend. Yoo-hoo!!!
We’ve been hearing a lot of thunder boomers the past two days. But when they stop, the birdies start singing again.
Awwww yay for peace and quiet and fresh air sniffing and getting serenaded by the birds! How lovely! But who is on the chair!?!? How intriguing!
Take care

We have had some disruptions lately, too–mama rearranged the house and we had a huge thunderstorm yesterday! We’re catching up on our sleep today. We are going to guess that Gracie is in the chair!
Go ahead and wap. Ask questions later.
Teehee, we can’t wait to see who in the chair will get whap-pawed!
Sounds like a lovely weekend!
We don’t know who is in the chair, but we are sure you will only do a gentle whap. We are glad you had a nice and peaceful weekend Brian.
Well, we had a party on Cinco de Mayo on Saturday, then Mommie made us clean up the mess all day Sunday, so….we are probably going to have to rest up this week.
I can’t guess who’s in the chair but you look very intent and serious!
Glad you caught up on your handsome rest.
be careful whapping cats in chairs – in our house they tend to whap back!!
Hi Brian, glad to hear you had a quiet peaceful weekend. Sound of birds singing is always nice. Yay for Sister Zoe for the new scratcher!
We love to whiff the windows but there aren’t enough plants here yet for birdies to be singing. We did hear a frog though!
Hello Brian,
Flamingo scratcher ……. sounds very mysterious !

No idea who is in the chair…but we think it’s feline versus human. ; )
Sounds like you had a purrfect weekend!

It’s nice you finally got a little peace Brian… although judging from the photo, you don’t like it when things get TOO peaceful!
Glad to hear you had a much better weekend -Hope you have a great new week.
Just who are you going to whap?
Purrs,
Genghis

Puddles
Oh, noise are so terrible. I hope your home stay quiet and comfy!!!
Kisses and have a great week!
I’m glad to hear that all is well at Brian’s Home! There nothing like the chattering of birdies to help one rest. I’m sure you must dream about them.
I’m guessing it’s Sister Gracie in that chair, because that’s where I see her so frequently — but of course, I could be wrong (it’s happened before).
If I recall, I last saw you on Sister Zoe’s flamingo scratcher. It’s quite the coincidence that suddenly she needs a new one, don’t you think? Huh?
Sounds mysterioso good!
Brian
Now that sounds like the purrfect weekend to me!
We can’t wait to see who got whapped. Hee hee hee.

Sounds like you’re off to a great week. 🙂
wow a catnip quilt. that got our mama’s ears open. she now want to find one for us.
Brian, we are sure one of your sisters is in the chair but we just cannot guess who specifically! It sounds like you all had a nice weekend. Enjoy the week too! 🙂

I thought that wa your cat tree you were pawing. I’ll bet Gracie is in the chair cos you love to tease her.
Hey Brian, Is that your Mommy in the chair? I hopes not!!!
OMD, sounds like you had a furry awesome weekend!
Catnip blanket? I wonder why we never had one. We are going to complain.
Peanut & Marshmallow
Well, a little game of whap-paw nefur hurt anybody! Who WAS the lucky recipient?
We’ve seen the flamingo scratcher & think it great. There’s a restaurant in Baltimore called Cafe Hon that has a huge pink flamingo outside. It must be 20 feet high. Flamingos always minds us of them,
listening to birdies while resting on a catnip blankie sounds like kitty heaven!
