Anita’s Fund (fund raising arm of Foster Paws Rescue) was formed to help cover spay/neuter, vaccinations, food, litter and other medical expenses associated with the rescue of thirty cats from a hoarder situation in Greenville, SC.
Anita, her kittens and many of the other kittens in the group tested positive for Feline Leukemia. Precious Anita, a beautiful and loving Russian Blue mix recently lost her battle with the disease. We couldn’t save Anita, but we saved her kittens and the other cats in the group. The kittens will go to a Leukemia positive rescue, Suzie’s Zoo in Charleston.
Please help us continue the work of caring for these wonderful felines and others in need going forward. No amount is too small, it all adds up and helps make a life better.

Oh, this is so very sad. We are so sorry Anita couldn’t live to see her kittens safe and happy and we are oh so sorry that they aren’t healthy. We will help spread the word.
So sad… I hate to hear of any sick kitties or puppies.
This week we found a little lost dog. We went to our neighbor who is a vet and he took the little guy to his office and in the morning he was able to contact the shelter the dog had been fostered from and the foster parents insisted they come over and thank us for finding Buddy. They will be able to adopt him fully once he is over his cold. We were so happy to be a part of reuniting a lost pup to his people.
As always doing your bit Brian! Purrayers to all the poor little kitty’s
Your on the side of the Angels.
I’m sorry that Anita didn’t make it, but so happy that her kitties have a chance at a happy life.

We chipped in a few green papers. We are purring that things will work out for these kittens.
Sounds like a great organization… anything that helps kittens….
M left a couple of green papers – sorry it couldn’t be more, but all the little bits add up.
We are sad that Anita didn’t make it but we hope the kittens find loving forever homes.
That is so sad. I sure hope the kittens are able to make it and find great furever homes.
