Sister Saturday with Precious and Her Award

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone, can you tell I’m here with  Flat Brian?  I am here in one of my favorite spots, the upstairs landing.  I like it here because I can overlook the household and see most of the other kitties, yet they are not to close as to scare me.  This has gotten to be a daily thing for me when I come out of my bedroom.  Who knows, before too long I might start venturing downstairs and check out the others.

You might remember from our home vet visit that I was diagnosed with Sterile Cystitis, which is an inflammation in the bladder that is characterized by sterile urine, or urine that contains no infectious agents.   So far I am doing pretty darn good and an increase in my water intake seems to have kicked it in the butt.  My Dad got me my own water fountain and I really love it.  I guess I wasn’t drinking all that much water but I can’t say that any more.  Plus I get extra juicy stinky goodness for a little added fluid too, and I finish it all up!  I sure am glad that these things worked because straining to pee was not fun, and  getting a daily shot of medicine didn’t sound like much fun either.  I think our new home vet is very smart since she said that is what it was before all the tests confirmed it.  Our previous vet said I had a UTI so the medicine for that didn’t do me any good at all.

Now for some very exciting news, I got my first award!  I didn’t even know anyone knew me yet.  The ever so lovely Katie Isabella shared the Illuminating Blogger Award with me.

My goodness, I just can’t believe I got an award, that is so exciting.  Katie says I am supposed to tell you one illuminating fact about myself.  Well, I like something that nobody else here really likes, Laxatone (tuna flavor).  Yes, the sticky, pasty stuff that helps with fur balls.  I lick it right off my Dad’s finger and I think it is delicious.  The others have to have it put in their mouth or on there paw, but not me, nope, bring it on.  I’m a bit of a shedder so there is a good reason for me to have some help with the fur tum thing.  I’m also supposed to pass this on to five others, but since I don’t know that many kitties yet I’ll just have to sleep with the award until I figure it out.

All in all life is wonderful and I always feel loved and important.  Now all I have to do is learn to play well with others MOL!  But hey, kitten steps, and I’m working on it.  I hope you all have a totally fantastic weekend!

p.s.  Dad finished washing the house and his tongue looks just fine.

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Precious, you should like a really sweet girl. You take your time with the OTHERS. That is really neat that you like Laxatone.

MOL, sure glad Dad’s tongue looks just fine after washing that house. That must have been exhausting washing the whole house with one’s tongue.
Precious, you deserve to win an award. We think you are a very illuminating kitty since your furs are so very shiny. You are looking great. Glad you are enjoying your upstairs place. Hope all have a super Saturday.

Hello hello, Precious! And congrats on your first award! We don’t really have furball issues so we’ve not tried Laxatone but we do love Felovite. 🙂

We are glad your cystitis is better Precious. Eric gets Katalax, which tastes yeasty, to help with hairballs. Mum rubs it into his paw so he has to lick it off. I don’t get hairballs so don’t need it, but I always ask mum for some, so she puts a little bit on her finger for me to lick off.

Precious I am so glad you are doing much better, so glad you are drinking more. Casper liked Laxatone well enough but I can’t get Cleo to take it at all and she really needs it with her long fur, but I am giving Cleo hairball control food. It’s been working pretty decent. Concratulations on your Award, you sure deserve it as you do so well with the laxatone. I don’t know, but I think your Dad’s tongue would be very sore after washing a whole house.

Concats on your first award, Precious! We are so happy that you are making progress on getting closer to your kitty siblings. You are right next to flat Brian, so maybe the real thing will be OK. Take your time, sweetheart. It’s a good thing that the vet knew what was wrong and now you feel so much better.

We have sent a toast for Alex and Gracie’s engagement party and are looking forward to being there. Maybe there will be some eligible gentlecats . . .

Hi, Precious. Maybe hanging out with flat Brian will make hanging out with real Brian easier. Just take your time meeting the other kitties. I am glad that you like your hairball medicine. Congratulations on your award and on feeling better. It’s amazing that your Dad’s tongue is OK after washing the whole house.
