I really want to thank everyone that came to our engagement party yesterday. Alex and I had a really great time and we loved seeing all of you and we enjoyed all of the toasts and well wishes. You really made it a special day for both of us.
I was really concerned for a while that I wasn’t even going to make our party. There is no really nice way to put this, but I hadn’t used the litter box for three days. Not only that, I was so uncomfortable that I was having a bit of a hard time even walking. So, Sunday afternoon off we went to the Animal Emergency Hospital. That place is no fun at all. Now mind you, I am a very good patient and very cooperative. I had x-rays taken and everything and didn’t fuss one bit. But let me tell you, there were some dogs there that sounded like they were in an awful lot of pain and one cat was screaming words I couldn’t even repeat here. All that noise made me so nervous and I was shaking like a leaf.
Fortunately the x-rays showed my insides were great and I was diagnosed with an old fashioned case of good old constipation. They gave me some yucky medicine to help with that and Brother Brian has been telling his pals that everything came out okay. Funny, Brian, very funny! I must have been a little stressed because I hadn’t done much to help with the engagement party. Hey, a girl worries about things like that. But you know what really made me feel better? That great big smooch I got from my Mancat Alex!!! Yep, that made me feel so much better! Love you too Alex!
Gotta run gang, but remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! More Forever Homes More Often!
Oh Gracie we are so sorry that you were so sick. Sure glad you were able to make your party. It sure was a great one. We enjoyed ourselves.
Hope that tummy keeps on behaving itself.
Have a great day and try to stay cool.
Gracie, it must have been all the party excitement that got you a little “backed up.” We’re so glad you are okay now.
Oh Gracie… if only I could kiss all your troubles away…. I don’t want to hear any more about you feeling bad about the party. All you had to do is show up and be your beautiful and sweet self… as my wife, I will make sure you never have to lift a paw… I have already had a stern talk with my staff and my assistant seems to have gotten my points into her thick skull 🙂
Sounds like you had a major case of the jitters, Gracie! We’re glad everything is, ahem, clear now. We had a grand time at your Engagement Party !
I’m so glad everything is back to normal! Poor kitty!
Glad you made the party.
xo Catherine
We are glad you are feeling better Gracie and your “trouble” didn’t stop you enjoying your party with Alex.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Sending you lots of purrs. Thank you all for posting about Snowball – he is better but now Chica is not doing so hot. When it rains, it pours!
Gracie, that was an amazing engagement party you and Alex had. We are so happy for you both!
Glad you are feeling better, sweet girl.
Hugs to you, your sisters, and Brother Brian!

Poor Gracie we are sorry you were not feeling well but are relieved to hear it was not serious, only a little embarrassing 🙂 Enjoy being in love!!!
I am glad you are feeling better. Stress can do that to a cat, you know.

I hope you are feeling good now!!!!
Kisses Gracie!
I am glad you are better now, Gracie, but wow, that must have been a REALLY uncomfortable ordeal!
We are sure your Sunday problems were just a bit of nervous stress worryin about the engagement pawty goin well.
Glad to hear Gracie is better!
The 3-Ds all had a great time at your party, Gracie, and it was a pleasure to finally meet Alex. However, we’re sorry that you had such a ‘hard’ time beforehand. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was due to stress. Maybe there is some kind of food that your humans can get you so that everything will come to pass more easily in future.
Oh Gracie, I am so glad you are back to your normal perky self…brother can be so mean, can’t they? and they just love bathroom talk–just ignore him!
We are glad you are feeling better.
We are sorry you got bunged up Gracie, but as Brian said, we are glad it all came out well in the end and you were able to enjoy your engagement party with Alex.
Well, that’s a relief! Emergency clinics are so stressful. We send big smoochies.
So glad your problem was nothing seriously threatening and that all is well again! Puff feels your pain about emergency vets and the animal hospital…she was so scared. Anyway, now that you are back to health, back to the delicious dreamy fun of being in love and planning a life together.
Glad you got your tummy troubles are better. It would of been sad to miss your own engagement party! Happy (belated) engagement too!
Congrats on your engagement Gracie!! And I hope you feel regular soon!!
Brian remember when I had trouble pooping last winter? And then Mom had the nerve to do a post when I finally pooped??? The same thing happened to me!!! Mom and i are super glad you used the litter box! Tell your Dad to put a teaspoon of pumpkin in your food (not pumpkin for pumpkin pie but 100% pumpkin) at least once a week. It will keep ya movin’ and groovin’ like a champ!! My brother, Dakota went to the vet today for urinary trouble. He was peeing everywhere. We know he doesn’t have diabetes but the blood test… Read more »

WE know how impawtant it is to keep the insides all clean and moving!
Mom obsesses over me and yet I am almost like clockwork.
Sometimes you know they (our rents) do strange things!
WE are just so glad you are feeling better and was able to make it to your pawty.

All the puns going through our human staff’s head are not going to make it past our paws onto your page. It’s just enough to say we hope you’re over your problems.
