Before I start, Dad is power washing the house so we might not be commenting as much as normal over the next few days, although we will be reading. I just hope the dirt doesn’t stick to his tongue!
I am always thankful for anything and everything that calls attention to the needs of critters everywhere. Just take a look around the blogosphere the last couple of days. We’ve had Hug Your Cat Day, we had the Blogville Pitty Post about Pit Bulls, June is Adopt A Cat Month, and June 14th is Just One Day to stop the killing. Each and every single day is important and it helps spread the word about so many important critters and causes. Each one can promote a special cause or event, but more importantly it helps raise the general awareness and importance of all species having a wonderful life and all species living in harmony. Thanks to all of you for participating in these events. I am convinced that together we can all make a difference.
Speaking of special days, June 11th is a special day around these parts!

June certainly IS a busy month for a lot of kitties and beans. BTW, we’ll be at the engagement party, we did RSVP. (At least we finally got our own human to do something for us this month!)

There are a lot of important things going on this June!
Humans hate it when dirt sticks to their tongues…
Yes, things have been busy around the CB lately, as well as around your house, it seems! More power to ya!
And Congratulations to the happy couple! Gracie, you really bagged one handsome dude. I hope you’ll be happy together for many, many years to come.
Such great news about Gracie and Alex. 🙂
Maybe your Dad could lint roll his tongue when he’s done cleaning the house. MOL.
The CB is a wonderful placce.
A lovely post today! It’s good to be reminded of all the nice things that happen in the blogosphere and in RL. Good luck to DAD with the power washing. I think that is very brave of him!!!
Dad is going to be really tired and need lots of cuddles after he washes the house, especially if he is using his tongue!
It is awesome how much good can be done, just by us kitty bloggers!
Oh My!!!!!! I´m so happy about this engagement!!!!!!!!!
ConCats dear friends!!!!!!!!!
I’m so happy for Gracie cos she’s had such a hard year with the asthma. And Alex got himself a sweetheart.
All species living in harmony is really the way to go. I’m totally in that mindset. Thanks for doing so much to raise awareness.
Pet lovers please check out my homeless cat blog archives for some informative posts and archived stories about the cat abandoned/feral colony I manage.

Nola and family
When your dad’s done, could you send him over to our place? We’ll pay you in tuna!
We hope every cat finds a good forever home. We all deserve it!
We wish the kitties the best! Unfortunately the slacker mom didn’t get over there in time today, but we will be there to celebrate!
Hiya Brian…there is a lot going on in June…here in the San Francisco Bay area, covering 3 counties ( San Francisco, Contra Costa and Alameda) Maddie’s Fund is holding an event to beat all dog and cat adoption events! There are about 60 shelters participating and short hand version…adoptions are free to loving homes…and Maddie’s Fund will give the shelter $1000-$2000 for each cat/dog adopted based on age and medical issues. Incredible help for so many of our small no kill shelters like the one I am from , the Contra Costa Humane Society..
Poor head-ofur-heels Alex. Sigh. My motto is: Monogamy is monotonous! Leave that to the Humans!!
Congrats to the BOOTIFUL Miss Gracie!
I hope dad has sunny warm weather for house washing! 🙂
Oh, sweet Gracie! I can’t come to your engagement party, but I’m sure it will be wonderful. I am so happy for you. What girl kitty doesn’t like romance??? Many many (((hugs))) and best wishes for both of you.
