Hot, hot, hot! The hots have returned to the South, again. We’re back to only having window whiffies in the early morning time, but that is okay for now, at least we do get some whiffies. Actually most of us don’t care if it is hot, but the hot and humid weather just isn’t good for Sister Gracie and her asthma, so we don’t complain a bit.
This is my main window to the world and I can sit here for hours on end just watching the world go by. Oh, it doesn’t hurt that I get to see kitties, birdies, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, butterflies, and an occasional really big turtle. But I would probably sit here and look out even if those things weren’t out there. There is something that is just plain fascinating about watching the weeds and the grass grow. I can’t exactly put my paw on it, but it is fun!
Before I get back to window watching, I want to thank my sweet pals from The Kwee Cats for sharing their Very Inspiring Blogger Award with me.
Thanks Miss Dutchess, Odysseus, Piewhackits, Pungy, Domino, Sneaky Pie and Oliver! If you don’t know them yet, please stop by for a visit.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Please give Miss Gracie a gentle cuddle from us. We hope she isn’t suffering too much with your heat wave.

And Concat for an award..you know Brain, you are really MR. award : )
Have a great day
Brian, it is such a pleasure to see you always and looking at you watching the world go by makes us smile real big. Kisses to Sister Gracie.
You kitty cats are so nice to be so thoughtful of Grace. But it is too hot for window whiffins even if Grace could do it too. Good to see you Brian looking out that window. Hope all of you have a great week.
We love watching the world go by too Brian! Enjoy 🙂
We hope you have a great day of kitty TV, Brian.
Happy Monday and happy week ahead!
We love to watch bird TV – at least it’s not loud like Mum’s TV.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Can’t imagine the heat down there. Hmm…actually, I’ve been to New Orleans in July, so I have an idea. Here in Canada it gets very humid, but bearable in comparison. Stay cool!
Wow… I understands about the hots… we’ve had them so bad here in KY. But the big rain, which made us pee in the house btw, which came Friday made it a little cooler.
Hopefully it comes your way, too, so you can enjoy some additional window time.
Shelle, Milo, Dixie and Newby,

There’s nothing better than watching the world, with the occasional exciting bird or squirrel, go by, Brian.
Swinging by to say hi… hope you’ve been well! 🙂
It is way too hot here, Over 100 every afternoon with heat advisories. That means it does not get cooler than the mid 80’s at night!
We don’t get long whiffies time either as it’s so hot. We go on a deck in the evening, but can’t stay outside too long. We see many critters out there but never seen a turtle yet!
Lovely Brian!!! You are a thoughtful kitty and think many philosophical things when watching grass grow! Yay!!
Awww me and Charlie purr for sweet sister Gracie!! Take care
x
Congrats on the award and try to stay cool!
I love a good day of whiffin’! Congratulations on your award
Congratulations on the award pal. I’m a window lounger too, I have two perches – each one is in a window for prime viewing. Sometimes I lay on one of them the entire day – well except for eating.
Yep, it’s HOT!

Congrats to the award!
Have a nice week!
Hmmm, we dont even get MORNING window whiffies (because that would require that TBT be UP in the morning)! Congrats on the nice awardie.
I agree about the window watching because thats my favourite too.. I dont have as many interesting things to see as you though… Hugs GJ xx
Hi mate,Speedy here thought I’d stop by and thank you for the visit.and being the cool cat that you are I’ll be stopping by more often or my mum will.We are back to rain again so how about a swap?
Congrats on your award, Brian! You are very inspiring indeed.
I think looking out a window is very relaxing. You can learn lots about the world outside by doing that — about human nature, animal nature, and well, nature in general.
Brian glad that there is morning whiffies. And through whiffies are best when looking at birdie and chipmunk tv I sometimes see that they come closer when it is closed.
Brian, I understand completely about just watching the grass grow being fun. I feel the same.
Congrats on your award! Mom said to tell you she LOVES how you accept/handle them and might have to do the same! 🙂
Love, Cody
We are sufferin’ from the lack of window sniffies here in ChiTown! Love your big window for watchin’ the world go by!

It’s nice that you can get a little window whiffing time in.

I hate doing it ~ but we’ve had to sleep with the windows closed and the air conditioning on for the last few nights! It hasn’t cooled down at all!
Keep cool kitties!
xo Catherine
I sit at my window and watch the traffic go by. Yesterday we had FIVE pigeons up on the next door roof.
Oh those darn hots – we’ve been getting hit with them here, too. We have a few here who’d agree with you about watching the weeds grow! Enjoy it, Brian 🙂
Turtle??!!! You have a turtle in your yard to watch?? I only have dogs and cats…well and of course the birds, well and then there are the peeps…maybe some bees, and snails…the occasional raccoon at night…but NO TURTLES??!!! Oh Cat! You are so lucky Brian!…stomps off pouting…heavy sigh…Paw pats, S
