Don’t Lose Your Stuff: Backup Automatically with SurDoc and Help the Furry Ones

Okay, keyboards are cat magnets, and sometimes we even hit the delete key when you least expect it.  Yes, it happens!!!

CATPROOF

Cat Proof Your Computer

Let me ask you, how often do you back up your stuff, you know, important things like critter pictures?  Most humans don’t do it at all.  Would it be wonderful if you could back up your stuff automatically without thinking about it?  Yep, it sure would.  What if you could help critters at the same time?  Yep, even better. How about 30GB of Free Storage?

Well, all of that can happen with SurDoc and my pal Romeo the Cat. Romeo is always looking for ways to grow green papers for his FURPower Organization, so he has teamed up with SurDoc to do just that.  In addition, Romeo will be donating $500 to one of the groups from those of us helping spread the word.

How can you protect your important files and help FURPower at the same time?  It’s easy! Go to SurDoc.com, sign up, and enter the Promo Code: CATPROOF and enjoy worry free file backup.

I thought you might enjoy this graphic:

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Mommy backs up all the important stuff (read : OUR photos) on the External HDDs. We’ll get her to check SurDoc to see if it’ll work better. 🙂
We do like to walk all over the keyboard and that makes Mommy shout! Especially when the PC screen go black. MOL!

Mum backs up all our pictures on discs and keeps them labelled in months so she can find them easily. She says she would cry if she lost them all. She also backs up the blogs and then all her personal stuff too on to discs too. In fact we’re getting worries she might have files on us too!!

Love the graphics. We use Carbonite as backup.

We’ve always had our own backups on our own fireproof hard drives outside the computer but with all the photos the Woman takes, she’s taking a ton of space. Maybe something like surdoc would be better.

Great tips!

I have a RAID I set up to grab my goodies… and lucky for me we don’t have cats.. cause you cats apparently are the bane of all computer users… who knew?!?!

You are Feline Culprit and Person of Interest #1 for computer problems from now on!

We back everything up on our external hard drive, but that sounds like a good idea. We will get mum to look at it.

well, I never go near our computer or the keyboard, but Mom backs up constantly with a cool program called Carbonite, it backs to her external terabyte hard drive constantly. But I know my before me brothers and sister used to slip paws on her keyboard lots! And accidents DID happen! paw pats, Savannah

Great Post Brian!
She made lots of the swearing sounds and sighed and worked on the other computers while it sorted out its bits and bytes. When it was finally fixed, she backed all 4 computers up onto each other! It took a long time. Mommy kept muttering about backing up more often!

Very good advice. I wish my connection were fast enough for online backup. As it is, I back up my computer at least monthly to an external drive. I will look into that app. Spyro and Oja both have tried to put paws on the keyboard because they want attention while I am “working”.

My Human keeps talking about The Cloud but honestly I think she might be going around the bend a little. I’ll have her check this out though.
