I’ll admit it, I love, love, love tissue paper! I love it so much, not only is a part of our daily play time, Mom buys it at Costco in packs of 400 sheets. I have purrfected the fine art of shredding tissue paper and I though I would share my technique with you today.
Dad usually wiggles the wand part of the Neko Fly thing under the tissue paper as an announcement to let the shredding begin.
You got to get a good grasp on the situation and extend the claws at just the right angle.
Yes, this was a brand new piece of tissue paper when I started, can you see the firm paw and keen focus?
Then you must grab hold with both front paws to ensure there is no escape route for the tissue paper.
Of course it is quite alright to take time out for a brief wand nibble too, that’s normal.
And finally, the finished product all shredded to purrfection. Honestly, it didn’t stand a chance! I hope you enjoyed my technique and hopefully you will find something you can use should you encounter that silly tissue paper!
THANKS TO CATHY KEISHA

Excellent form! Mom and Dad have never tried deliberately letting us play with tissue paper for fun. What a great idea!!
You’re a great shredder! We only get tissue paper on special occasions, but we think we should be allowed to shred some daily, too. That’s a great way to play between naps.
Wow, this ought to be an Olympic event! Maybe next time. Nicki might give you a run for a medal, Brian. 😛

You certainly seem to be a pro at this Brian. Freckles has perfected the art of EATING paper — and vomiting –no preference any paper will do, even bills.
We’ve never had any tissue paper to shred – we think it looks quite difficult so purrhaps you can give us a few hints at how to make the first shred.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

My human never buys tissue paper just for my pleasure – I have been gypped once again!
We just put tissue paper on the shopping list. Can’t wait.

You know what’s even better than the wand side of a toy? One of those LONG straws that they sell for HUGE sundaes. You can bite into them without hurting your teeth. TW used them or a peacock feather to wiggle under the tissue paper. You do seem to know what you’re doing. MOL
Hi Brian, I like your technique! My friend Rafie in Dallas has a peep who mounts her torn paper art. Maybe you could open an art gallery together. Rafie doesn’t blog but you can see her work here- https://www.susanthall.com/Susan_T_Hall_Illustration/Rafe_Art.html
Ahhhh…I loves to do dis too but I gets in trubles, darn it! You has dis down to perfection my furiend.
