My goodness, I didn’t realize that it was my turn again already, but here I am! I want to give a great big meow-out to my handsome Dante, he is such a kind, caring and considerate Mancat. Smoochies to you handsome!!!
I guess you could call this a Good News and Bad News post today. As you may recall, we were delighted with our new home Vet that actually came to our place. Then they had to close because they couldn’t make enough to support their family. We were all sad about that. The good news is that were have selected a new Vet and she specializes in cats. It is a cat only practice and she has a wonderful reputation. Along with that there is some bad news. That means that we will all be going to the Vet…eventually. As the Mancat of the house, Brian gets to go first and will be going next Tuesday. Shhhhhhh, he doesn’t know it yet. Brian has been having some “issues” plus he needs all of his annual stuff.
Then I will have to go in November. I need to have a dental and I likely will have to get my fur mats buzzed out. I will need some purrs when the time comes because I am not a big fan of the Vet…even ones I haven’t met yet. But I must get both of those done. I have to be healthy and look my best for my Dante.
The new Vet that we are going to actually did my vetting when I was dumped at PetSmart and she is the one that took care of Sister Dolly for so long after she was dumped. She does a lot here to help kitties that really need it. We would have gone to her sooner but she is clear on the other side of town. We are not looking forward to the longer car ride, but Dad says this time we are going with the best.
That’s it for me today so I will see you next time. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrr! Zip! Later!
She sounds like a wonderful vet if she helps kitties that need homes. We like her already. I bet you will like her Sascha. And that Dante is very very handsome. We will sure send purrs when it is your turn and we send lots of purrs to Brian for this Tuesday. Our Jasmine has to go to the vet on Tuesday too.
Hope all of you have a great week end.
The new vet sounds very nice…even if she’s a vet. And being a cat only practice is a big plus point! We’ll be purring for Brian’s visit next Tuesday and for you, sweet Sascha, when it’s your turn in November.
Our regular vet is about 20 minutes away without traffic and much longer if it’s peak hour. There is one who is less than 10 minutes away but that’s the awful Dr Doom who completely misdiagnosed Tutu and told Mommy that Tutu could “go” at any day.
a vet only for cats – think that’s a good way for peace in the waiting room, if we do sit and wait all together the most of us are nervous and stressed before we met the vet.
have a nice weekend!!!
It sounds as though your new vet is purrfect Sascha (well we hope she is) and at least you won’t be scared by those big noisy woofies if you have to wait a while. Mum always asks for the same vet when we are going – she’s very nice (or so Mum says) but we don’t like it when she takes our temperature – it makes our eyes water just thinking about it!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh Sister Sascha, you are breathtakingly beautiful today. And you look even more so with your beautiful feminine pink. Brian, I hope your issues are minor ones. Anything else is NOT an option for you. You must remain in top form to herd the Lady Cats. Mom said she understands about mats. Admiral would form them while you watched! She had curly furs and they were gorgeous and matty! Mom brushed till her hand fell off but Admiral’s curly chest and tummy and leg feathers were always needing attention from her and sometimes the v-e-t. I would love a cat’s… Read more »
Oh my darling Brian, I am so worried about your issues. I is purring tons of healing purrs for you and will be right over for a good cuddle. ~Scylla
We all love our vet and luckily she is only about 10 minutes away. Although as much as we LOVE Dr. Lisa Scylla still hates going to the vet and complains the whole way there.
you look beautiful as always.. dante is a lucky man…
Good luck Brian
How wonderful to have a vet that specializes in cats. Good luck with those mats and hope all goes well for Brian on Tuesday.
I’m so sorry you lost your traveling vet. My kitties HATE, HATE, HATE going to the vet. I watch Mom & Dad try and get them in their crates and I just shake my head. Don’t they know there’s treats there?
It’ll be fine, Sascha. Trust me…
Your doggie pal, Sage
Brian is so brave to pave the way for you girls to go to the new vet. What a trooper he is! Have a great weekend!
We know the joys of house calls but at least there will be no dogs in the new waiting room. Have a great weekend!
It won’t be so bad… going to the doctor, I mean. My sister Beatrice and my auntie Blossom both had doctor’s visits yesterday, if fact. They went well, I heard. Not a drop of blood was drawn… and I’m talking ’bout the doctor’s blood here. hehehe… purrs
We do admit that we hates the VET too, but we like what your dad said about going to the BEST.
Do not worry dear Sascha! It’ll be okay!!
Kisses
That is too bad that the home vet had to close – we sure would have used them… except we don’t live in your town, or even your state! Brian will have to give us a report of his vet visit – remind him when he comes back on Tuesday!
You’re looking lovely today! What a shame that the in home vet had to close. We’ll purr for you and Brian when you go to the farther vet!
It is nice to have a vet to come to your place but they are hard to find. We know you will like your new one!
perfect vet for you guys!
well it’s good news that you have a new vet…bad news for Brian on Tuesday!!! Hope all goes well!!! The girls don’t have to worry quite yet
Hi Sascha, well to have a cats only vet has to be good, but hope all goes well for the dude on Tuesday!! xx
You are looking lovely Sister Sascha. Our vet isn’t a cat only vet, but they do have separate waiting areas for cats and dogs so we don’t have woofies staring in at us. We hope Brian’s vet visit goes well.
Lovely Sascha, your pretty bed matches your pretty pink ears. Glad you got a cat only vet and hoping your visit goes well.. I do hope sweet Brian’s vet visit goes well.
xoxo Kassey
Hope the Issues aren’t serious!
Oh my, the vet is stressful enough without having to go to a new one again!
Nubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Oh so handsome you look. Glad you found a good vet. I am very picky when it comes to a vet too. I have my favorite one at my vet office and always ask for her even though I know the others ones are very good to. I feel she knows my cats best. Good luck at the vet and with the car ride. My kitties hate the car ride and it’s only 10 mins. LOL.
Good luck with the new vet
Sascha, we just can’t believe you were ever dumped….sigh. Ok, well, just like all of us here at Casa de Cory don’t believe we were ever abandoned. You are such a beautiful girl. We hope you like your new vet….um as much as a vet can be liked. We don’t “like” our vet, but we appreciate them. We are lucky enough to have a vet that has about 6 good vets there so we always get good care. Even if we want to hiss at them when they put the thermometer thingie…um you know where.
Home or office, I have a rough time with the Vet. She’s nice and all…but she’s a Vet. Glogirly got me a thundershirt to wear to my next check up. I don’t quite know how this is going to make the Vet any less Vet-like.
…by the way, that is a BEAUTIFUL pink beddie you’ve got there! Don’t let Spitty see it!
; ) Katie
Awww, gorgeous Sister Sascha you look lovely on the pink. We are sorry about your vet but happy to hear you found one that is only for cats. We hope all you get great reports after you go meet your new vet. We hope you had a great Saturday and your Sunday will be terrific. Hugs and nose kisses
I hope Brian’s “issues” are not serious. I don’t like going to the vet either so I will be thinking of you and sending purrs.
