Our mom saw a program this morning that mentioned Pilots and Paws, a group of volunteer pilots that transport rescues around the country to their new forever home. She thinks they may be able to help Jamie get to his Florida home. Here is their website:

They have a tab for requesting transport at the top. Under their “About” tab there are other ways to contact them, including Facebook, Twitter and their BLOG! They have had events in SC as well as Florida!
That looks like a great place to take it easy.
