Sister Saturday with Gracie

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone!  This is one of my favorite spots, the end of the couch and I sit here a lot, mostly when Dad isn’t sitting here.  This also happens to be one of my favorite tummy up spots, but that is mostly at night when Dad is watching television and I’ve just given his belly a good fluffing.  My Dad has one of those special tummies that is just made for fluffing and I always make sure to do my part.

There isn’t too much going on around these parts.  We did have tons of rain earlier in the week and let me tell you, it totally poured.  It was raining so hard that at one point I made a mad dash for under the bed.  There wasn’t any thunder or lightening, it was just raining so hard that it sounded like those evil roofing humans were back.  Just when it stopped and I came out it came back for another round.  I am not a big fan of anything that is loud and noisy.  Speaking of noisy, the next door neighbor dogs just started yapping an alarm and poor Brian went for under the bed.  Silly boy, it’s just the garbage human in the neighborhood.

Overall I’ve been doing pretty good but I did have one asthma attack.  Fortunately Dad was right there with my rescue inhaler and fixed me up immediately.  I don’t like that little mask, it kind of scares me, but that sucker sure does work.   Otherwise all has been calm for me health wise.

I hope you all have a terrific weekend and I’ll see you soon.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Sister Gracie, we’re glad you’re doing well, except for that one attack. We hope you don’t have another one for a LONG time.

It’s usually pretty noisy here, where we live. Our townhouse complex is adjacent to a major thoroughfare, there’s road construction going on that will take a year+, there are always barking dogs and whackadoodle screaming neighbour kids….LOL.

Glad you are doing okay, Gracie! We get lots of rain here too and sometimes it brings loud noises and bright bolts of flashing light with it!!

Nice to hear your Daddy has a good tummy to fluff on… we gave him a special shout out on a special post we did on October 4th in honor of of the Feast of St. Francis and Pet Blessings!

We’re so glad your Dad was right there to make you feel better when you had your attack.
We get very nervous when we’re sitting at our catio and the garbage truck or some big loud vehicle goes by. Once, a fire engine went by and almost gave all us a heart attack!

Gracie, rain can be really scary. We’re glad your asthma is under control and your Dad was there to help you.

Thank you so much for your kind comments to us on the loss of our Oliver, we miss him so much. We are sorry that Brian’s brother went suddenly too. It’s always such a shock.

I hope you continue to do well with your asthma, Gracie, and your attacks are at a minimum – I hear autumn can be a little tough on asthmatics!

P.S. My human was really excited to meet your human in person!

Tummy fluffing…so THAT’S what it’s called. I need to tell Mommy that. She calls it “ow ow ow get off” and “you need your nails clipped”!
