Well, we’re back. I want to thank all of you who stopped by with kind words on the loss of our Grandma. The comments meant more to us than you can imagine. We all loved our Grandma very much and we will miss her terribly.
There is someone some of you asked about so I will just tell you a bit today. Our Grandma had a rescue kitty that was saved by our Mom, and her name is Kit. Kit, of course, is family, and she has come to live with us. I will be introducing Kit to you before too long, but right now she is a bit traumatized by the whole ordeal. She is living in the bedroom for the moment and she mostly hides under the big bed. But she is out a lot and Dad has gates up so we can learn all about each other. She has yelled at Sascha a couple of times, but that’s okay, we’ve gotta start somewhere!
While we were gone, our dear friend Selina was kind enough to share her The Next Big Thing Award with us. Thanks so much, we appreciate it sweet girl!
We will be around catching up with you just as soon as we can. We’ve missed you all. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I’ve missed you a lot, Brian, but I know how tough it is to lose somebody that special. The peeps had to adopt Gramma’s cat Autumn when Gramma ran away to the RB. I hope Kit acclimates better than Autumn (who never got along with Nicky) and better than Precious, who’s taking her sweet time. Kitty kisses and pawhugs.
We are looking forward to meeting Kit!

I have really missed your too Brian – you and your entire family. So happy you are back. We’re so very happy you have gmas kitty with you. We’ll be anxious to meet her once she’s used to you and your house. Poor baby, but we know all of you will be very kind to her and she’ll get more loving with you than with anyone else.
I am so glad to see you guys are back but I know that missing your grandma will take time to feel a little less sad (Mama lost her grandma over 10 years ago and she is still sad). You are the very best to bring home Kit! We have no doubt you guys are well versed in being patient with newcomers and that’s probably the main thing with Kit. She’s probably pretty scared. Looking forward to hearing more about her and hope she’ll feel everyone’s love very soon.
Purrs,
Lucy
Welcome back, Brian! I am looking forward to meeting Kit – I hope it is not too long before she starts settling into her new home with the rest of you kitties.

We missed you so much and are happy you are back. Sending more ((((hugs)))) We are so sorry about Kit’s Mommy but Kit couldn’t be in a better home right now. Excited to meet her!
We’re glad you’re back and thankful you’ve taken in Kit. Jan took in Rusty when our grandma died and he became a Funny Farmer much quicker than Jan expected. He was already an honorary FF since Jan had adopted him for her mother from the shelter.
Oh Brian, we are so sorry to hear about your Grandma. We didn’t know until now as our mum hadn’t been feeling well and never helped us blog for more than a week. We send you and your family our purrs and deepest condolences.
Welcome back. Purrs to you. Can’t wait to meet Kit.
Still sending gentle purrs and hugs and can’t wait to meet Kit. Congratulations on your award! Well deserved, and then some! Purrs…
