Howdy everyone! We had a fairly busy yet uneventful weekend. We are used to dodging the evil Dyson on Saturday, but this time the evil Dyson came out on Sunday, so that did disturb our Easy just a bit, but we did manage to recover and get plenty of Easy in.
Friday evening my Dad went to a super fund raiser called the Bachelor and Bachelorette Auction for a Kaws. The event was held at our local Marriot in one of there big ballrooms. There was a Meet and Greet at 6:30 PM which featured a silent auction and then a live auction with real Bachelors and Bachelorettets started at 8:00 PM. There were a couple of hundred of humans in attendance so it was a very successful event. The proceeds from the event will go to help Kitten Action Team (our rescue), Carmen’s Rescue, and Pet Tender Angels (the dog rescue that saved Jami).
It has still been too darn cold here in the South and we even had a few snow flurries on Saturday. If you happen to spot Spring anywhere, please send it in our direction, we’re more than ready for some warm to return. I hope you all have a fantastic week and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
🙂 🙂 :0 xxooxx

We agree that the south is entirely too cold. Isn’t it supposed to be spring?
Sounds like a great fundraiser… Sorry about the evil dyson though
That sure does sound like a terrific fundraiser. We are so glad about the causes it will support.
Brian, you are looking furry handsome there.
That sounds like a great event and hope it raised lots of money for the shelter.
We are so sick of being cold too. It is supposed to be warmer this coming week end and believe me, we cannot wait. Hope all of you have a great week.
Oh what a great event – wish I could be there ;o) … a Dyson attack on sunday? oh how annoying ;o)
Sounds like a great fudraiser was had, and yeah still no spring yet at our pad
We bet your Dad had a great evening and hope he met lots of lovely people who helped with funds for the Kitten Action Team. We’re sorry to hear you had the evil Dyson out – ours has been out today! We’re also sorry you have snow and cold – it is lovely here today and should be nice tomorrow then back to cold and wet – we hope this isn’t our spring!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh no, Dyson on a quiet Sunday? Hope you make up for that disruption with some easy napping today 🙂
Oink oink,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig
So glad the humans came through at the fund-raiser! Such a handsome boy in that photo!
The auction with bachelors and bachelorettes sounds like fun! What a great way to raise monies for a fab fab cause!! Yay for your mum and dad lovely Brian! We hope you are having a great Monday! Take care

At least it is finally warming up here in Texas – supposed to be up in the 80s today in Texas.
Cats and Dysons, never a good combo.
Have a great wonderful week!
🙂
It’s great the fund raiser was a big success!
We are having chilly days, too and need some spring!
Spring is coming even if slowly,xx Speedy
The evil Dyson.. I hate that.. Love that picture though.. Hugs GJ xx
Here the Autumn is coming!!! Iu-hu!!!
I hope that evil Dyson wasn’t out too long before it went back into hiding. Just when you think you know the routine, the evil thing changes its ways.
Again, your Dad is always helping out when it comes to needy animals. I hope the fundraiser was a grand success!
..hope you had fun at the fund raiser and that they raised lots of $
You have a wonderful week too!

Oh boy we’re so glad to hear you got enough Easy in. We had plenty of those coz Mama and Papa had tons of errands to run on Saturday which made them absent from home all day and they spent practically the entire day at church – service + mtgs. When they came home at 3 pm, it was to take a nap. Imagine that!!!!! We were good kitties and joined them in for another round of nap.
dood…sew did yur mom get mad at yur dad coz him went lookin for sum bacherlorettez !! ??
THat is a good project for raising money. Spring is trying very hard to appear here. Many flowers are blooming and some of the fruit trees. We have has cold , but not freezing, nights, so we are just waiting for the annual Easter freeze that will kill all the fruit trees!
We bet the fundraiser was a blast for your dad, and a huge success!
Boo for the evil Dyson. We don’t have that brand, but our sucky monster is evil too!
Fundraisers like that are win/win for all. Thanks for reminding me it’s Dyson time 🙂
What a pawsome fundraiser and me and mom are so happy it was a great success!!
XOXO
Oh boy, we hate the Dyson!! Rudy and Sammy always run and hide when it comes out…I give it the evil eye! That is very good about fundraiser and your Dad! Thanks for your good wishes for me after my scary seizure! I’m doing furry well now.

That sounds like a fun event! Um, did they auction off your dad? And if they did, do you get him back??? MOL
Looking handsome as ever, Brian! We don’t have a Dyson but we have a lot of sun today! Stay toasty. Spring is coming! Purrs…
My human and her boyfriend love attending events that benefit animal causes – there is always something going on here in L.A.!
Our Dyson makes an appearance on Sundays too but I am ok with it, no fear…the other pets all run for shelter but I just ignore that thing!
Brian…no Spring has sprung here yet.
Brian you are right it is still too darn cold here in the south!!
Feels like the middle of January..in fact I think January was warmer.
Hugs Madi…your BFFF
It may not be warm outside but it makes all furkid lovers all warm and fuzzy inside when money is raised to help save as many kitties and woofies find new homes as possible. Whoo Hoo to your Dad and to all who do what they can to save furry lives=^Y^=
That was sneaky of the evil Dyson to come out on Sunday and try and disturb your easy.
We are sorry the evil Dyson invaded yer Easy Sunday, but we spose one day is as bad as another for it…
My kitties say we have an evil washing machine. LOL. An evil Dyson sounds pretty scary too.
I’d love to send you some of this hot weather we are having today!
Did they have slot machines there? 🙂
Brian
it was very cold here in FL too. No snow flurries but lots of very cold temperatures. WE were safe and warm indoors. At times like this we always say purrayers for our feral friends outside in that cold.
xoxox
What a great fundraiser! We’re happy it was a huge success!
We can’t wait for spring, too! We wish it would hurry up and get here!!
Did your Dad bring you a sweet bachelorette? Wait, what, Human? Ohhhh, they were Humans. Oh well, then, who needs another one a them???
Thanks for the update Brian and thank your dad for doing good stuff for our fur friends:) We don’t like the Dyson either!
If they auctioned you off, I’d bid a million dollars! Of course my peeps wouldn’t be good for it. Sigh!
Cool fundraiser, we’re glad it was a success! Our first big snow this winter is coming. Then, come on spring!
Oscar runs away when the noisey beast escapes from the cupboard …. what a sucker LOL
Banjo thinks the Dyson is nasty too. 😉
xo Catherine
Brian we are late over sorry. We have the loveliest sunny day today and it feels like Spring. Sadly it won’t last as they are forecasting rain. Have a terrific Tuesday. Stay warm!
Best wishes Molly
We had some spring here for the weekend, but now it has disappeared…maybe it is on it’s way to your house? I hope so!
Gotta beware of those machines!
