I know this picture might look familiar to you, but this one was actually taken over the weekend when Sisters Gracie, Kit and I were enjoying some marvelous whiffy weather. This is somewhat of a normal window line up around here. I know Sister Gracie shouldn’t be whiffin’ with her asthma, but she really did seem to do just fine. It was 76 degrees here and we pretty much had whiffin’ time all day long and into the dark hours too.
That’s when it happened, during the dark hours. Two of the feral kitties had a disagreement, and believe me, they were shouting about it something awful. It was one heck of a loud and scary time. Sister Gracie took off like a shot, and poor Sister Kit just froze in place. I didn’t run, I jumped right in front of Sister Kit to protect her from the horrible event. I didn’t want her to be frightened and be afraid to go to the windows. She didn’t run and I was very proud of her. Oh, Dad had a talk with the ferals and told them that our yard was a neutral zone and there is no reason to be disagreeable while they are on neutral turf. All was quiet the rest of the evening.
That’s it from here. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Brain , You are very brave mancat !
Kudos to you
What a brave mancat you are, Brian!
This past weekend, a neighborhood cat was looking in the window at Ashton, and she made such brave cat sounds that the humans said “That’s really Ashton?” Someone’s got to protect the other cats from the neighborhood rabble!
Furry nice of you to protect your sisfur , Brian !
Good that your dad told thoose ferals that your property is neutral zone 🙂

It’s so good to be protected and to feel safe. My cat is always watching for disturbances. Especially since mom was gone last week. https://www.dawsondogs.com/blog/2013/3/The-Great-Smoky-Mountains
Maxwell: Brian, dood, that’s pawesome protecting your sister like that.
FaRADaY: Maxie, that’s cuz you’re all gentlemanly and stuff. If it were Allie, I’d run away – she’s on her OWN.

76 degrees? We can only wish and hope for open windows. Cold, snow here. Boo, hiss.
Way to go Brian!!! Have to say that dad has got authority!!!
So glad you were there to protect your sister and your dad was able to break up the feral battle.
Your pal, Pip
Thank cod your dad put a stop to all that yelling! We’re just a teensy bit…no…we’re a lot jealous of your opened windows! It’s still too cold here!!
So lovely to see all three of you there, sitting in a row. Sorry the ferals caused a bit of an upset.
Brian, you are such a good protector of your girls. I know Kit is really happy you were there!
Brain you make a great big brother guard cat! I am jealous of your warm weather. still snowing & wind is a blowing to open windows here!
Whoa! The Toms and Alleys got into it right in your yard! Exciting stuff. And you were so brave to protect your new sister.
It has been really warm here in Texas also. In fact Mommie got sunburned this week working out in the garden.
Brian you are one strong and brave mancat!
You have better winders than we do! And yer Dad is a feral-whisperer…
Oh Brian, You are a BRAVE Gentleman cat, and we just know that stepping in front of her had NOTHING at ALL to do with wanting to get the best seat for the caterwauling match!
You are a very good brother indeed, Brian. We hope your Dad didn’t join in the shouting match to get the ferals to quit. 😉
Brian you are a hero!
Have a terrific Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
oh I would love a picture of the three moggies like that 🙂
I’m sure your home is very well protected 😉
Purrs
You’re a super hero Brian!xx Speedy
How wonderful you watched over your sister.
Do you all have a colony of feral kitties nearby? Since we’ve been reading, we haven’t heard anything about these ferals. Sounds like they are disturbing the peace. Good thing your dad reprimanded them. Do you have a TNR program in your area? Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
Oh Brian, what a good, brave kitty you are to protect your sisters like that! They are very lucky to have you around!!
Mr Terry must be like a cat whisperer if he got those ferals to stop fighting. So purrleased Sister Kit is not afraid to go to the windows…I just luvluvluv my whiffies!
Oh boy, can’t wait till we get 70’s weather, it’s still windows-shut here.
Brian, you’re so impressive, you can be our brother any day!
