Thankful Thursday: We Are Ready for Spring

While there is always so very much we are thankful for, today we are going to Thank It Forward, we are thankful for Spring, even if it isn’t here yet. We know you are on your way and we will be most happy to welcome you.

Honestly, I think we all have a touch of Spring Fever. Lately we have all been in a wee bit of a whappy mood, and getting on each others nerves. Take tonight for example, I was in one of our pink cubes and was starting to get out. When I stuck my head out of the hole, Sister Zoe was there to give me a whap, right on the head. I tried again, another whap. Again, whap. I felt like I was stuck in a bad game of whack-a-mole or something. It must be Spring Fever, yep, I’m certain of it.

Before too long though, the windows will be open and we will be in full whiff mode. I am thankful for Spring and I know you are headed our way!

We had to laugh at Sister Zoe enjoying a game of “whap-my-brofur” though we doubt you were enjoying it as much. ๐Ÿ˜€

We, too, can’t wait for Spring, as we’re starting to feel a bit of cabin fever, as it were. The human saw the forecast for the weekend and it just *might* make it up to +7C (about 45F) on Sunday. We live in hope!

Oh we are so ready for Spring and just plain sick of being cold. It is supposed to warm up this week end and hopefully the warm up will stay.
    Have a great day.

Are you getting restless Brian and impatient for window whiffies with your sisfurs. It won’t be long before you will all be smelling the fresh spring air.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

I like the idea of thanking it forward. I’m thankful too for spring and can’t wait for it to arrive! Sounds like Sister Zoe definitely has spring fever ๐Ÿ™‚

My mom laughed out loud when she read your description on how your sisfur Zoe whapped you in the head , me I didnยดt think that was funny at all ๐Ÿ˜‰

That wasn’t nice of sister Zoe to play whap a mole with your head! It has been quite spring like here, but the heavy rain came back today, and it is forecast to get very cold again at the end of the weekend.

MOL Brian. We thought you were going to say Whap-a-mole. MOL. We know we’s got bad cases of spring fever but probably not as bad as Mom. She’s grumpy. We like the pay-it-forward idea. We just hope it isn’t too far forward as you are looking pretty down-in-the-dumps. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Maurico, Misty may, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

Aw, Brian, I wouldn’t whap you if I were your sister. I may have to talk with Zoe. I cant wait for Spring either as I watch the snow coming down right now.

We are a little like that here too! I was all snuggled up with the mom and Julie was going to snuggle in close by, but I whapped her just in time! The mom’s mouth fell open cause I usually am not the whapping type. That is Julie’s job. Maybe we will get some window whiffies soon?

Thanks dear friends for the vote of confidence and the very kind words; your friendship is a treasure!

oh I so know what you mean Brian. Even tho’ I am an only cat…I am so happy to be getting more whiffies in lately. And Dad promises that next week it will be even better…it will be in the low 70’s F here and I can hardly wait.
