The weekend is over and we’re already looking forward to the next one. This past weekend was a busy one. Dad was part of the transport team for the Underground Railroad Rescued Kitty Network on Facebook and was delighted to help Boo-Berry and Chestnut get closer to their forever home. Do you want to see some pics? Of course you do!
This is Chestnut, and what a love bug! This pic was taken when Dad first met them in Piedmont, SC on Saturday. Boo-Berry was sort of shy and kept hiding behind Chestnut.
Dad drove them to Gastonia, NC to meet Nancy, who was taking them to their next meeting place in Statesville, VA. Dad was running a little late because traffic on I-85 North was at a dead stop due to road destruction. The kitties were so good and so very patient.
The next two pics were taken by one of our blogging pals who was also part of the transport team, Erin, the Mom from Fat Cat Bean. Erin got to spend the evening with them while they spent the night at a Bed & Breakfast in Virginia.

It’s great so many of you are willing and able to take a leg of an occasional or regular transport. So many animals helped because of it.
