Sister Saturday with Kit

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!

Okay, I have a confession to make…this Kit is everywhere!  No more confinement, not even if Dad and Mom have to go out for a while, I got the run of the house and I love it.  Well, I haven’t been upstairs where the tortie cat lives, but the others tell me they haven’t been up there either.  Other than that, I hit the kitchen, I go in the dining room, the living room, the laundry room, the walk-in closet, and I really do just walk right in.  And hey, speaking of the laundry room, I’ve found the biggest litter box I’ve ever seen in my life.  That thing is amazing!  Sorry, I got distracted there for a minute.

I do get along with everyone except blondie, and she is slowly coming around.  She doesn’t hiss when she sees me any more but she will still hiss if I get close to her.  So, in an effort to make up with her I’ve started laying on her favorite couch blankie.  Now Brian tells me that isn’t going to make her happy, but the way I figure it is that if I get my smells and furs all over it she might get used to me.

I’ve pretty much got the routines figured out too, and I am especially fond of playtime which is followed by treat time.  I jump right in an play with Brother Brian and Sisters Gracie and Dolly, and sometimes Sister Zoe.  Sister Sascha, AKA the blonde one, will play in close vicinity to the rest of us, just not overly close to where I’m playing.  I really try to be helpful too, and if someone isn’t in the mood for treats I gladly eat theirs, it just seem to be the right thing to do to help out.

I still haven’t got the hang of smiling for that flashy box, but I will practice.  I hear something going on and am off to investigate, see you next time!   Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip!  Later!

You sure have adjusted really quickly, Kit! We wonder if it has anything to do with you being a Tabby? Mommy says we tabbies are pretty easy going…generally.

Oh Kit that is all such good news. Blonde will get used to you soon. We are so excited that you are fitting into the family so well. Hope all of you have a super week end.

Sister Sascha will soon get used to you Kit – perhaps she just feels shy. We are glad you have settled in well and join in all the fun. We bet they are so happy you will eat up any dropped treats for them!

Kit, I am so happy that you’re adjusting so well and you seem happy. I was thinking about you wondering how you’re doing and there you are! I like your helpfulness with treats. Annie is helpful like that too.

Sounds as if you are right at home now. And helping out with treat eating is so thoughtful. Way to ingratiate yourself to your housemates. Have a great weekend! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

My cats both have the run of the house, they can go everywhere, do anything, seems like they have no rules and boundaries like us dogs…not sure I understand that logic???
