Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!Hello everyone!  I am so appreciate that Brian gets lots of notes from you asking how I’m doing.  Well, I’m not downstairs, yet, and I’m not quite sure I’m ready for that at the moment.  You can see me here on the lower landing, just five steps away from the others.  You can also see that I’m keeping an eye on that Brian.  There is a gate at this landing and for some reason Brian keeps coming up to check on me.  I might be more willing to take that “next step”, so to speak, if they would just not be so purrsistant about it.  Hey, it has taken me a while to get to this point and Dad says I don’t have to try anything different until I’m darn good and ready.  Brian isn’t the only one though, Zoe, Dolly and Gracie keep sneaking up to look at me.  They  are funny too, I just make a quick pounce at the gate and boy do they scatter.

Otherwise, things are going quite well and I’m very happy that Spring has arrived.  I enjoy window whiffies too, and from upstairs I have the best view in the house.  I have a cat tree that is right by two big windows and I actually sit in the top bed quite often.  But when those windows are open it is whiffie wonderful.  I am almost at tree-top view, the good part, where lots of squirrels hang out, and they are lots of fun to watch.  I did see one of the squirrels fall out of the tree a while back, and boy did he land with a thump.  His pal rushed down to see if he was okay, but he wasn’t moving.  Then, all of a sudden, he got up, shook it off, and off they went back up in the tree.  I’m glad he was okay and so was his buddy.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and thanks everyone for cheering me on!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

We’re glad the squirrel was up the tree before the feral cats found him!
Seems like your brofur and sisfurs are pretty excited to have you join them downstairs, Precious. 🙂

Hi there Precious. Glad you are doing so well. Good job keeping all those other cats in line. It is very scary to have so many cats around and you do need to protect your part of the world. It sounds like you are getting used to things now though. Glad the squirrel was OK. Have a great day.

Precious, you’ll know the right time. In the meantime it sounds like you have a really nice setup with your very own tree and window whiffies. I sure am glad that squirrel was ok.

Precious… if I were a kitty, I would have been you – I was so shy and cautious when I was younger. Now, well, I don’t mind people as much and can be quite bold by mingling with others!! You will be ready when you are ready, but it is nice your other kitty-mates take the time to keep checking up on you!!

We saw a squirrel fall out of one of our trees the other day and it also landed with a thud! We had never seen that happen before but that squirrel was okay too. Have a great weekend!
