I did, I did saw a feral cat, and you can see one too! I have to pass on some kudos to my Dad, he is getting a wee bit better sneaking pics of the ferals. Well, not this week, because it is so darn rainy the ferals have been hiding and keeping dry.
Before the rains came in there was a tabby feral relaxing on the deck, seriously relaxing. Dad was able to quietly put the camera lens through the blinds and grab a quick picture without even waking him up.
This isn’t the same one we showed you last week, this one is a good bit bigger. He also has a very big black tail, which you can see wrapped around is back legs. We were sure happy that he felt safe enough on our deck to relax for a while.
I did issue a challenge to Dad, and that’s to get a picture of one of the elusive tortie ferals. I know it won’t be easy, especially with a rainy week, but I’m going to pester Dad until he gets it done. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
He’s lovely, where do they go when it rains ^”.”^ xx00xx

It’s good to see that the ferals are relaxed enough on your porch to sleep. We’ll be looking forward to the photos from your dad’s new challenge!
They know a sweet, safe place to snooze like yours. We are lucky to never see any strays here, but I’m sure there are some somewhere not far away.
now that sure looks like a comfy guy
Oh he is so handsome. Looks like maybe they are getting a little bit more relaxed. Love that picture. He is a big guy.
Take care.
We’re so glad they have a safe place to go (i.e. your property), with plentiful food and good care!
He is very very handsome. If any one can get a picture of a feral, your dad can. He just has that magic touch with all kitties.
Your dad did an awesome job sneaking a picture of this kitty! We used to have lots of ferals around here many years ago, but not anymore. Only a long visitor every once in a while. Wish they would come back – we could kind of use them actually!
They must feel very secure in your yard Brian – we love that guy’s black tail.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
So happy the ferals have a safe place to hang out at your house, Brian.

Your visitor is a beautiful, big baby!!…Maybe you’ll get a brother one day soon, handsome Brian?…Hope you all enjoy a lovely Tuesday, dear friends…xoxo…Calle, Halle, Sukki
He got a great pic! What a handsome boy and how great that he can relax on your deck!
That tabby feral is a beautiful cat. We rescued a tabby several years ago and he lives with us now. He’s cross-eyes so we names him Mr. Magoo…he’s the cat in the heading photo on my blog: The House of the seven Tails. Recently a tabby with longish hair (the first I’ve seen) has been hanging around. I’m trying to get him to trust me so I can get him off the street and to a vet. It can take a while!

Such a gorgeous feral cat. We are glad he likes your deck because we know that is a very safe place for him.
Thank you for watching out for these ferals.
he’s a great looking kitty, great photo!xxSpeedy
He’s very cute. That’s good that feels comfortable in your deck. Probably you end up adopting him, we never know.
What a big guy! We sure are glad they are well taken care of by your Dad and Mom even if they remain feral.
I love the tail wrapped around the legs!
I LOVE seeing him and any of the others that your dad can sneak up on.
he´s so beautiful!
I did, I did see a feral cat 😉
I almost never see cats outside around me. Occasionally one will be sitting on someones porch.. but its rare..
That is a beautiful kitty, and he looks so well fed, too (thanks to your Dad)! I love his black tail — quite distinctive. I think your Dad must be a Cat Whisperer because cats know they are safe around your place.
Aww he looks so comfy. He is handsome.
What a cutie!
Looking forward to the Tortie pic – thanks for commenting!

He is gorgeous and he knows he is safe at your house. I hope your dad can capture pictures of the others. great picture of you too. Hugs GJ x
I think cats know where they can find food and shelter. Mummy takes care of the ones in our property too. Your Dad is good to all in your property too Brian…we have good caring peeps, huh?

sure are lots of tabbys at your place. I bet with the torties there may be babies. It would be nice if dad could catch them & get them snipped (if possible), for health & unwanted population. I don’t like seeing the ferals esp when it is so cold & snowy. He sure does have a black tail, noticed it right away! Glad to hear dad is feeling better! 🙂
Wow, what a great shot. He certainly looks healthy, happy and at ease. Happy Tabby Tuesday. See you for WW. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Josette
Brian that feral looks a lot like YOU!
Awwww what a handsome tabby he is Brian!
Looks so peaceful!
That big tabby is so handsome! Not as handsome as you though, Brian, of course 🙂
Aww the tabby boy must really trust to rest so near the house that was so cool picture.
Well, it’s interesting to know that feral kitties don’t like the flashy box just like us kitties!
Ferals are such hard work! Good job! We’ve had Mica Moo almost 3 years and she still has trust issues. Looking forward to seeing the torties.
Aw, he was a tired boy and your deck seemed like a good safe place for a nappy. So nice! Your Dad is a good guy, Brian, taking care of efurrybuddy!
The ferals are so lucky to have you look after them and give them a safe haven.
It makes us so happy to know that you have provided them well enough that the ferals feel safe and able to step down from the high tension of life in the wild. Thanks for your compassion.
Purrs to all your ferals Brian. They are so fortunate to have you and your family looking out for them. You folks are awesome!
Wow he is obviously comfy and feeling safe on your deck. Nice one Brian. Hope you get good weather soon. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Those kitties must know that there is a lot of love at your place and want in on some of the action! 🙂
xo Catherine
I’ll bet he has a lot of ladycats! MOL! Bet you do too even though I know you’re taken.
