Did you hear that??? That was a pet blogger somewhere sounding an alarm. Listen real close. The next sound you hear will be the pet bloggers responding. I know first paw, because so many of you respond when I sound the alarm about a critter needing help. The critter help if wonderful and I’m always learning something about foods, medicines and holistic remedies and products that I may not have otherwise had a clue. I’ve also noticed that alarms are not just critter oriented, many times help is needed in other areas, and many times the pet bloggers come through.
We see it all the time, don’t we? Somebody might be experiencing financial stress and, by golly, the pet blogging pals jump in to help. Have a problem with Blogger or WordPress? No problem, pet bloggers are so willing to answer questions and offer advice. Problems getting your pictures off of that silly card from your camera? No problem, I have seen that one answered too.
Stop and think about it, how many different things have you seen posted and then were captivated by the responses? Pet bloggers are so willing to give of their time and energy just to help someone else. It is a trait I’m proud of and every time I see it happen, I’m so delighted and thankful we are who we are, pet bloggers! Now then, if only the rest of the species (you know who you are) would be so giving!!!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Me have noticed that to and am proud to be a member of the petblogger community 🙂
XOXO
Brian, you are so right… I am always amazed at how caring and compassionate the pet bloggers are. My blog is a hybrid. I blog a lot about cats but also other things. Time and time again I am blown away by my pet blogger friends (you guys especially)
Oh goodness, truer words were never spoken. The blogging world is just the very best. Pet bloggers are so giving and wonderful and guess what Brian, your Dad is one of the best there is. We so appreciate all that he does to find kitties and doggies homes and just plain helps all kinds of animals.
Great post.
Have a super day.
Just happened last week! One of ol’ peeper’s caterwaulin’ friends needed help finding a home for her mom’s two kitties. Well… tweets & stuff started last Friday and just yesterday, Sophie & Chloe’s new mom & dad picked ’em up. They drove all the way from the other side of the province to get the girls!
Yay for all of us!
Purrs,
Nissy
And also pet bloggers are always there to support their furriends when they are sick or they need support!
Thank you for this charming post and for stopping by my bloggie to send good purrs to Milou, we really appreciate it!

Have noticed it time and time again. But you know many human bloggers help too, as for non bloggers though, yeah they could learn a thing or two.

One thing I didn’t expect when I started blogging was how amazing the pet blogging community is! I had been thinking about making a second blog and questioned if I should do something other than pets… but nope! I decided to stick with pets in my 2nd blog too! Everyone is so wonderful here 🙂
We think Pet Bloggers are amazing – always willing to help each other if they can and offering support. We didn’t realise how many friends we would make when we started to blog. Tell your Dad we think he is one of the best.

that is so very true….it makes us so proud to have found this community and to be a part of it. a good reminder and a great thing to be thankful for!!
I have to agree wholeheartedly. So many times since I joined the blogosphere have I seen the many friends come to the rescue when the alarm goes out. I have been on the end of the soft cushion that bloggers put out when we need comfort during a fall. I give thanks all the time that I joined the wonderful community and made so many friends. Hugs GJ x

Brian, in the short time Mom has been blogging she has seen so much of this helpfulness. Prior to starting the blog she started volunteering for a local TNR organization and first encountered this attitude there. We have to guess that not all cat people are like this, but their numbers, we think, are certainly greater than those who continue to perpetrate awful crimes and cruelty upon their fellow man as well as animals. Thanks for calling our attention to it. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
The petblogging community is truly awesome – together, we create miracles!
ummmm…I think think the peeps would call that “hit the nail on head” Brian. So true, so sad, but so true. I am so honored to be a member of this very pawsome giving community
