Mancat Monday: Dolly’s Vet Visit and Catching Up with Ray Charles & Sister Rachael

Please help tiny Peyton

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Well, we’re ready to start a new week…rather we’re ready or not!  It was kind of a busy weekend at our place and yes, Dolly did find out about her Vet visit just as soon as she got stuffed in the PTU.  I gave her some advice and, according to Dad, she followed it pretty darn good.  I told her that Dad liked us to sing at the top of our voice and she sure did just that too.  I was really kind of surprised because she has such a little voice, but she belted out like a real champ.

Here Vet check up was fine and she got her annual shots.  Even better though is that Sister Dolly got to see both of the humans who saved her.  Dr. Anderson was the Vet that treated her when she was saved and was so very sick.  Then Jenna, the nice lady that hunted her for a week when she was dumped in a not-to-good part of the Upstate also stopped by and was thrilled to see Dolly once again.  Dad also saw the always wonderful Sandy from Kitten Action Team where Sisters Sascha, Gracie, Zoe and I came from.  Gee, it was like old home week!

Guess what else Dad did?  Dad got to visit with Ray Charles and Sister Rachael while he was there.  Remember them?

We were really hoping to post some good news about Ray & Rachael, but the home we selected for them backed out last night.  Can you believe that?  Now we’re on to Plan B, which is contacting the No. 2 person and hope they are still interested.  Sometimes humans really are disgusting, to go through all that and then back out. Pffffffffff!

That’s a wrap for today and I hope your week is mighty fine.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Sometimes, Cats Herd You

We’re glad to hear that Dolly sang a good opera for your Dad on the trip to the vet. It sounds like she did you proud.

We are so sorry to hear that Ray Charles and Sister Rachael’s first forever home backed out. They were obviously not a good fit, since they couldn’t handle the responsibility, but they shouldn’t have offered in the first place! Please keep us posted about their plan B home. They deserve a happy home together.

It must have been so wonderful for everyone who saved her to see Dolly… I don’t understand the backing out, but I think it is a good thing. I would rather see the people bale before they take the cats than after or neglect them. what cuties! Hopefully plan B become the purrfect plan

So glad to hear Dolly didn’t disappoint with her voice. We love to sing louder than the radio too when we have to go in the car. You should have heard us when we moved 2 hours away;)

We’re glad Sister Dolly’s vet visit was just routine.

Boo for the humans who backed out of taking Ray Charles and Rachael, but that must mean they weren’t the best people for them. Purrs for them, and paws crossed for Plan B.

Ah, Admiral used to sing opera…Klingon opera at the top of her lungs..she even put an anguished edge to it to make sure mommy’s eyes leaked. Me..so far I am good. So far.

Please please may Peyton have help he so badly needs. I couldn’t click on the link because I saw it in Twitter and it broke my heart.

I’m really glad Dolly had a good trip to the vet! And it stinks that those people decided not to give Rachel and Ray Charles a home, but they obviously weren’t the right family so I think those sweet kitties are better off. I hope the #2 person will work out better!

Good work Dolly!
Glad that is over and you are 100% fantastic.
OH dear oh dear that was bad bad bad for that hooman to back out. But you know what, it’s better that they did it now and not dump Ray Charles and Rachel. So we know they will be in better hands with someone who will always be there for them.

It is disgusting when people back out, but better that they back out now, BEFORE the kitties would be there. This just means that a much BETTER home is waiting for them!

Wonder if Dolly remembered them from all those years ago. We kittehs tend to block bad stuff that happens or we wouldn’t trust any humans. Was Dolly singing Diamonds are a Cat’s Best Friend? MOL!

Bummer…that’s all I can meow…Ray and Rachael deserve much better. I know my human friend Miss Josie, my used to be vet, is praying her two black former bottle kittens will be adopted together. But no one pays any attention to them cuz they are black. Their sister who is a ginger now has her furrever home…APAWS for Ginger the ginger girl. Paws crossed for Ray and Rachael, paw pats, Savvy
