Well, I just have to tell you that I’m much happier now that all those silly humans that were working on the air conditioner and furnace for upstairs are all gone now. Yes, I’m a bit of a chicken too, so when noisy strangers come here I am under the bed with everyone else. But who do you think is the first one to come out of hiding? Nope, it isn’t the mancat Brian, it’s me, I’m the brave one that always ventures out first and then I tell everyone whether the coast is clear or not. Sometimes I get out and think it’s okay but have to make a dash back under the bed because the noisy humans were being quiet humans. But at least that stuff is behind us now, we hope.
I have been having fun and my asthma has not been acting up at all, at least not yet. I even managed to sneak into one of the open windows for a whiffie yesterday morning but I was smart enough not to stay very long. Honestly, I don’t go treat myself to whiffies very often, but yesterday morning it was so nice and there just happen to be an open spot on the window bench. Sometimes you just gotta do what ya gotta do! Oh, and I have been feeling so good lately I have been taking turns chasing Dolly, Sascha and Zoe, just for a little exercise. They are always nice and play along and sometimes even chase me back.
That’s it for me today. I’m trying to talk Brian into letting me do the Easy tomorrow so we can have a Sister Gracie double feature. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh. We’re so glad all your noisy people are gone. We had OUR noisy people last Friday and we managed to squeeze UTB. It was a very tight squeeze but we made it!
Have a wonderful weekend, Gracie! And we hope we’ll see you again tomorrow. 😉
Hi Sister Gracie! We’re so happy to hear your asthma and the upstairs AC are both doing well. Hope your Caturday is a relaxing one. XOXO
Good to read that the noisy people have gone and you are back to normal. Have a super Caturday all.
Best wishes Molly
Oh Gracie, so good to see you. Glad you tried to be brave. People that make a lot of noise are very scary. The mornings have been really nice especially for those window wiffins. Hope all of you have a great week end.
Oh gracie! I love when it is your turn…. I know that Alex sees my smile when I read your words. He would be so proud of his brave girl…
I’m glad you feel good Gracie. I have always tears in my eyes when I see your little heart for Alex. Have a great Caturday.
We are so glad to hear your noisy people are gone. We had noisy people here this week, too, putting up new blinds in the sunroom, and we didn’t like it one bit. You’re so brave to be the first one to come out and make sure it’s safe for everybody else!
Gracie we think you were ever so brave while the furnace people were there. Don’t tell us that Brian was hiding behind you!! What great news to hear your asthma has been less troublesome – perhaps the window whiffies helped.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
haha Cassie can relate, the cat is a big fat chicken and she has to come out first to see if the coast is clear.
Gracie, you look very cute, remind me a lot of my Willow with your darling cute face! My Willow also has asthma but is also doing well lately. Enjoy your day!
A double Gracie weekend!! That sure is a treat! Enjoy you the peace and quiet without all those loud humans in the house!
Sister Gracie, bet you’re smarter than most of those humans you keep such a good watch on. Enjoy those whiffies, you only live 9 times!
We had a noisy man here this week giving our a/c it’s annual checkup. Scardey Laila hid the whole time, but me, Minchie, helped. hehehe!
Isn’t it great being able to run around when you can breathe?
Have a fun weekend!
Gracie glad to hear that your asthma has not been acting up and you’ve had some whiffies. Also that you don’t have any strangers around to scare you, but bet you are glad about that AC right now!
I am glad you’re doing so well, Gracie! See you tomorrow maybe?
I hope you get to do the Easy tomorrow, Gracie, although we like to see Brian and the other sisters too. I just happen to think you’re super adorable. I didn’t know you have asthma but I’m glad it’s not bothering you right now. Annie doesn’t like strangers either! Sometimes she growls when someone knocks on the door (and then runs under the bed).
Have fun chasing your sibs!
Wow! Good for you, Gracie. I think you deserve a whole two-day spot on the blog for your bravery.
Whew–glad the Noisy Humans are gone! We know what that’s like…we head for the Catio to hide.
TWO days of Gracie? We can’t wait!
So Glad everything is back to normal Gracie,xx Speedy
You’re a sweetie pie.
I bet you get hugged a lot.

Sister Gracie, you know Derry is the chicken here. Nicki likes to “help”, so when a worker comes into the house, he has to be confined most times, just to let the guy(s) do his thing. LOL.
We’re glad you’re asthma has been good lately. It makes us sad, though, that you don’t get to have window whiffies very often. Is it more humidity-related or perhaps airborne pollen–your triggers?
Still, things always could be worse.
Purrs.
YAY Gracie – we’re so happy you have not had any more asthma attacks and you’ve even been able to get a couple of window whiffies in. Love those whiffies!
Oh sister Gracie I am with you! I zip under the couch or back into my bedroom if some strange person comes by. Dads friend John and his other pal Janet are OK to peek or hiss at but I have known them since I was a adopted. We are almost related.
Purrs
I am glad all those noisy people have gone now. You were very brave to be the first one out to make sure the coast was clear. It is good that you were able to enjoy some whiffies without getting an asthma attack.
Gracie! We ladycats have to be the brave ones. I’m glad your AC is working now cos it’s about the get REALLY hot. I’m also glad your asthma is being go and letting you play. I run like crazy all the time even though I have no one to chase. TW isn’t brave enough to open the windows so I don’t know if I’d be OK or not.
Gracie, we’re so glad you got some window whiffies!
YES!! A DOUBLE feature of Sister Gracie! PAWSOME! PURRfect! Go for it Sister Gracie! paw pats, Savannah
I’m not a fan of peeps with tool belts either, Gracie.
…BUT…I might be able to stash a certain orange kitten in one of those belts and the workman would be none the wiser!!
; ) Katie
Gracie, since you’ve been so busy acting as a look-out, you definitely should get the Sunday easy post as well ’cause you’re going to need a rest. Good luck! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
I totally vote for a Gracie double feature. We’re popping the corn already XOXOXO
We admire your bravery Gracie!!!
So glad you are enjoying your weekend, pretty Gracie! Purrs!
Great news Gracie about your asthma 🙂 x
Hope the a/c is running for you! We prefer the open windows but when the weather is like a tropical rain forest with heat and high humidity we are thankful for the a/c.
I’m the brave one in my house too! Dakota is a chicken. Love, Cody
Glad to hear you are feeling well and having fun with your family.
One thing doggies are good for is letting you know when noisy humans are around and when they finally REALLY leave. Fenris is a pro he barks the whole time the intruders are here. Tuiren on the other hand is a slacker she never barks at all, maybe she figures we couldn’t hear her over Fenny any way. ~Scylla
PS: Tell Brian I would love for him to come snuggle with me today.
Beautiful Sister Gracie you are looking mighty sweet. We are happy to hear that you have not been having any asthma problems and we hope that keeps up. Enjoy your Sunday! Hugs and nose kisses all around from all of us!
I am so glad your asthma has not been acting up and all the nosy peoples left. My kitties don’t like any of those kind of noises or people in the house or outside.
