Mancat Monday: Likes, Rain and Critter Cards

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it! I interrupt this nap to bring you some news from our other blog and Facebook.  As most all of you know, we run another blog that encourages all things pet adoption and it’s called ForeverHomeWanted.com.  While I’ve been on Facebook for a good long while, we really didn’t have a Facebook Page.  Well, we do now.  So if you’re on Facebook, please stop by HERE and give us a Like.  This is another place to post critters searching for their forever homes.   I would like to give a special meow-out to Glogirly and Glogirly Design for the wonderful page design!

In other news that just doesn’t seem to want to quit, the monsoonal rains kept showing up over the weekend.  We were very worried about our feral kitties but every time the rains left for a while they came to eat.  They really had to eat and run since whenever they got comfortable on our deck the rains came back.  Dad used to have a boat and maybe he shouldn’t have sold it.

Hey, don’t ya just love creative greeting cards?  How about terrific cards that feature rescue pets?!?!  Our artist friend Natalie (@waggytails2 on Twitter) has some really great cards, so if you get a chance please check them out here at: Greeting Card Universe. They will make you smile!

I hope you all have a terrific week and don’t forget the Opt to Adopt Blog Hop tomorrow.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Should you end up buying something as a result of one of those links, I might get a little sumpin’ for my treat fund.

We’ve liked your Facebook page, Brian!
We can’t believe your rain is still going on. We’re glad it stops long enough for the ferals to get to the feeding station. A boat at this time is a really good idea! 🙂

Brian, I asked a weatherman on FB what the rainfall overage was so far for Knoxville and it is just shy of 20″. It would be interesting to know what YOURS and Marg’s rainfall totals and overage for the year are too

Yes, we are so ready for this rain to be over. The Person is sooooo tired of wet feet on herself. You rescue site looks really good and we sure did Like you on Facebook. Hope you have tons of success and we sure do thank you for trying so hard for Baby Doll. She appreciates the effort a lot.

Hi Brian! I will send my assistant over to like your page right now. I also have a facebook page, but really haven’t used it much the last few years.

    Your pal, Pip

    Hey Brian.
Great new FB Page and we posted it on ours. We have been on FB long enough to have 5000 friends but only visit now and then. Hope to change that.

Have liked you over there on Facebook and think Glogirly did a really nice job with the design. We finally got some nice rain here a little earlier today. It doesn’t look like it’s coming back though.

We are afraid that the ‘wets’ may continue in our neck of the woods. Mom saw that there is a newly formed TS Chantal and it’s going to float up the Eastern Seaboard. Right now computer models can’t indicate where it’ll go or even if it will hit the US somewhere but it’s bodes badly for all of us in the SE as far as a simple rainmaker.

It seems our rain has left us at last and has decided to add to yours. We are having the hots now and today reached 85F. We rarely make 70.

  12. Kitties Blue

So far, no rain today. Yippee! Our cat tree on the catio remains covered (we hate that) cause it is in the forecast. Our mom isn’t on Facebook, but our dad is so we’ll ask him to show us your page. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

We were going under in water and cold and then it stopped and now we are parched in heat with no rain…what happened to a happy medium??? Glo Girly is from the Twin Cities too…have to contact her myself one of these days for some help 🙂

  14. Miss Kitty

Hi Brian…send us some of that rain! We have missed visiting, but we are happy that you stopped by to leave us a comment. Thanks so much it meant a lot to us. This is a very good post today. We went over to your facebook page to see it too and liked it! Hope you have a great week..
    Hugs & Purrs,

I had already like the page. All these new outlets help in getting our furrends adopted. There “should” be no excuse for anipals getting put to sleep anymore. Thanks for the handsome photo. I’d tell you to come visit me but we don’t have that many birds here and no rabbits.

  16. meowmeowmans

Sorry you’ve been having so much rain there, Brian. We’re glad the feral kitties seem to know how to deal with it, though!

We liked your new Facebook page. Well, actually, we LOVE your new Facebook page, but you know what we mean. 🙂

    Hugs!

  17. Shaggy and Scout

We’ve had horrible monsoons too and lost a big tree because of the high winds and sideways rains 2 weeks ago. Now it’s nice hot. Mom like it hot. We like to stay inside with the AC.

  18. Dash Kitten

I am SO with you on the boat idea Brian. We have been getting some serious rain here from time to time!! OK better go check out those cards……

  19. siku marie

We so appreciate your tireless efforts to find forever homes! Your FB page is wonderful. And so is the card work from your friend…we are going to make momma order some cuz we love sending cards, especially ones with funny pups on them!
