I know you’re probably tired of hearing me meow about the weather so I’ll keep it short and brief today. YUCK, the monsoon is still here.
There, now that I’ve got that off my chest, I am glad to report that there were plenty of naps over the weekend. We even managed to get some early morning whiffies in and then the windows got closed. Dad even chased us around with the vacuum for a while but I think he got tired of that game because it seems like he gave up too soon. Of course we did our part. As soon as Dad was finished with the vacuum thingy we scattered some litter about and tossed some toys around just for good measure.
In other weekend happenings, Dad and Mom ventured out in the monsoon to go downtown to see The Jersey Boys who were appearing at our Peace Center. The Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons.
Even though I had a previously scheduled nap, I did put in appearance just so they could say they actually met me while they were in Greenville.
I hope you all have a nice week and please stop by tomorrow for a special message from Sister Gracie. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
BOL you are a star Brian 🙂 Hope you get some dry weather soon, we have the real hots xx00xx

We’re glad your Mom and Dad enjoyed the show. We’re sorry you still have the monsoon and we know how you feel as this was like we had all last “summer”.

Hey Brian you look cool up there on stage Buddy…right smack-dab-center-stage!! You couldn’t have had a better seat! Sure wish we could have a little of that rain. If we hadn’t moved, we would still be getting that good rain too! LOL! Happy Monday to you all!
Kitty & Loretta
Monsoon is still here, too! I hope it will leave sometime soon.
The Jersey Boys are very lucky to get to meet you!
Sorry to hear that you still have the monsoon over at your place 🙁
Here it´s just grey and windy today , guess I shall not complain since we have had good weather for moore than a week before today 🙂
Glad that your humans enjoyed The Jersey Boy´s and it was nice to see you on the stage too 🙂
Granny always told us “never move to a place where summer is the rainy season.”
Monsoons and visiting Florida during the summer are proof that she was right.
Hang in there!
What fun to keep the Dad on his vacuuming toes! Oh, and our Mom says she wants the rainy weather back. We’ll swap you our dry, sunny weather! Purrs…
Brian, your glower in that picture must SURELY chase those pesky rain clouds away!
XOXO
Purrz!
Selina
After our rainy, cool spring, and rainy start to the summer, we’ll be thrilled to send you some sunshine. Trade you for some rain!
Thanks for stopping by, especially considering our human’s useless at blogging these days.
Looks like you had a fun time with them on stage Brian. It’s supposed to rain all day and night here, but we need it and it’s much cooler so I don’t mind for now.
try to stay dry!!! glad you got to meet those Jersey Boys….looks like fun
I hope sun puddles return soon to your neighborhood, Brian!
P.S. My human is waiting for someone to make a musical of the story of the Sex Pistols!
OH Brian my peeps loved The Jersey Boys
At Christmas the 4 young men from the first road show came to Raleigh’s Meymandi Center performing a variety show called Under the Street Lamp. Name came from the fact that most of the groups back in the late 50’s early 60’s used to perform under a street lamp.
Hugs Madi your BFFF
PS monsoons left us over the weekend…now we have the 3H’s!!!
Oh dear Brian we hope the monsoon breaks for all of us!
Yes something about the weekend and Dads with vacuums. Ours got a new one and, can you believe it, he actually started using it. He was all “Look at that pile of cat hair from the new carpet, only a week and there is a pile.” Well, Duh! We’re cats! He even filled the nice box it came in with “recycle.” so our play time was cut short.
Ah well. He does bring home the treats.
Hope the weather clears up for you soon.
Scattering the litter seems like really good revenge for being chased by the vacuum!! MOL.
Fun concert!!!
We’re almost ready for winter here! …this 90+ weather is making Glogirly crabby.
; ) Katie
Heheheheh!
Have a delicious week friend!
The Jersey Boys!! What fun! You should have had the Queen Kitty of Jersey (CK) join you!
You must admit, monsoons make very good sleepy days. 🙂
xo Catherine
BOL, we think you are the star attraction, Brian. We’ll feature you later today on https://www.facebook.com/KatzTales
It’s still raining? Haven’t the clouds run out yet? We hope you are staying high and dry, Brian. Rest up so you are ready for window whiffies when the rain finally ends.
Brian, we bet the Jersey Boys were so excited to have met you! and you were on stage too – what a thrill for the audience 😉 We wouldn’t mind trading you some of our hots for some of you rain…just some…we don’t think we want an entire monsoon…
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Next time if there is one, may I come along?
Mommy bizzy ALL day till late afternoon when she got home. xoxoxoxo
We dun like the big noise of the vac – we all run and hide under beds. And do you know they will still try to chase us under there?? The nerve of those monsters!!
We had no idea there was a fifth Jersey boy with stripes!
I’m glad you got a little bit of window time. When the storms are gone hopefully you’ll have the windows open longer. Mom & Dad saw the Jersey Boys a couple years ago – they’re really good.
Whoa! What a report. TW is so old she actually saw the REAL 4 Seasons in concert! She didn’t meet them like you did. She refuses to see Jersey Boys cos one of the clowns who bought the company she worked for bankrolled it. He was a real jerk so she was hoping it would fail. No such luck. MOL! Hope your peeps enjoyed it.
I hope you get some dry weather soon! Glad your dad and mom had a good time at the show! Sounds like fun!
Our parents saw them last year in London, UK and said it was an amazing show x
Amazing act of thoughtfulness interrupting a previously scheduled nap! LOL!
Our rain has finally stopped for a while. Unfortunately, the heat has set in big time. Now, we are sort of wishing for a little rain to cool things off. Good job with the litter after the sucking monster got put away. Ooh, we know Mom wants to see Jersey Boys. Hope it was good. You look great up their on stage. Watch out, they may want to take you on tour. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauridio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
