I’m practicing balancing on my Dad’s legs while he is writing this post for me…either he is wobbly or I am!
I know I’ve mentioned something similar before, but I am always thankful every single time I see it happening. You know what I’m talking about, someone is having just a terrible time and bloggers jump in to help out. This isn’t unique to our pet blogging community as I’ve seen it going on in other groups too. But, us pet bloggers likely do it better than most.
Case in point is Sass and Lou. They were homeless, lost everything. Then, they were able to grab some couch space with a friend, but that didn’t last long enough, now they are homeless again. Sass needs some help and her anipals are rallying the troops to see what they can do. Sass doesn’t want to give up Lou who has been with her since he was a kitten. The thought of living under a bridge somewhere is really quite stressful.
Tomorrow, July 26th, there will be a Twitter Fundraising Pawty with the hashtag #GiveAHoot. No amount is too small. You can see the details on the pawty HERE. If you can give a little (did I mention no amount is too small?) here is the link to the Please help Sass and Lou Fundraising Page. Just think, it could be you, it could be us, it’s just plain scary out there. I am so thankful the anipals are out there trying their best to help.
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
it is amazing the power of the blogging community..
Oh that is really sad. Hope this helps. We sure will do what we can. Have a great day.
Bloggers are beautiful people indeed!

Cat bloggers in particular rock!
You are right about pet bloggers being so helpful. I really hope that the fundraising pawty can help them get on their feet. Times are tough right now. My own mom is having similar problems, but fortunately she can stay here.
our best to sass and lou, hope this pawty will make a difference.
That is so sad and can really happen to just about anybody pretty fast. Hope they are able to get back on their feet. Mom always says she will live with us in the car if she had to but she would never give us up.
Sending our purrs and prayers to Lou and Sass!
Hoping I can be there! Hoping I remember! I just tweeted your blog post!
oh noes! We already donated for Sass and Lou when we first learned of their pawful troubles. We will do what we can. And I keep beating that same drum Brian…this anipal community is purrty special
We aren’t on Twitter, but we will try. The kitty blogging community is very generous and giving, we are proud to know them and be one of them.
Oh my gosh! We are purring for Sass and Lou! If anyone can help out, the kitties on the CB and the blogging world can.
We will BE THERE! We have given special prizes for the draw!!
Balancing on the legs can be tricky. We go fer the lap, which is a lot more stable.
Hope lots of wonger gets raised for them,xx Speedy and mum
PS You are the best Brian
Thank you.
Blogging is very powerful x
We clicked on the link yesterday and never got back to your post. Mom’s wondering where Sass and Lou live, thinking if they are nearby or live near a relative or friend of ours, we could help with temporary lodging. Just a thought. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette
They live in New Hampshire, Janet, but will relocate to Massachusetts, Maine or in the NE.
We’ll be there. Such a sad story too. M always says, you never know when it will happen to you!
I don’t don’t how I missed so many of your posts. I try to make sure I visit you even if time is short. I forgot all about the #GiveAHoot pawty! I can’t believe it. See what happens when I’m not working in the DJ booth. CK was NOT in da house!
