T.G.I.F. Tummy Getting

Before I start my T.G.I.F. post for today, please send your best purrs, woofs and prayers to Sister Gracie.  She isn’t feeling well and has an issue with ***whispers*** constipation and likely has a UTI.  She is headed to see the Vet later this morning.

Anyways, we did make it to Friday and we’re looking forward to a long holiday weekend here in the United States.  We sure love those long weekends, we’re just hoping the fireworks are quiet.  Hey, we live in the South and they shoot off fireworks for any holiday that ends in “Y”.  If those things start booming we will dash under the bed and protect the dust bunnies.

Holiday weekend or not, I’ve always heard that the best things in life are free.  However, sneak attacks on tummies, now that’s another story.  My T.G.I.F. for today is Tummy Getting Isn’t Free.

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!
Sister Sascha, while I’m snoozing remember, Tummy Getting Isn’t Free, if you do, you’ll pay MOL!!!

Have a happy, happy weekend everyone and please do stop by tomorrow for Sister Saturday with Sascha.  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip!  Later!

We don’t do fireworks here except for Canada Day! (July 1st)

  4. Oh no, Sister Gracie. We hope you feel much better soon! We do Flare Night at the lake for Labor Day and the whole lake lights up with flares all the way around. It’s beautiful and we look forward to it every year. We hope you have a good weekend!

  5. Sister Gracie, Abby had a problem her entire life with digestive issues. One way or the other, finally Mom started putting organic Slippery Elm syrup (just enough liquid to mush up the pate) and organic pumpkin (a tsp)in each of her meals, she figured eventually both would work their magic, and they did. They kept Abby clean as a whistle and no longer issues with diarrhea. Neither changed the taste of the food because there wasn’t much taste to either product. Mom tried both to see for herself. Just a FYI in case that helps.

  6. So sorry to hear about Sister Gracie. I hope she gets better soon.
I sometimes use Tomlyn Laxatone. It’s for hairball control, but the lubricant seems to work for constipation, too. (Maybe because hairball causes constipation?) I mix just a tiny, tiny bit (just fingertip) to the food when I use it.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend!

  10. Poor Gracie…we will purr that her trains start running on time…toot sweet! Mommy gives Felix a pinch of Miralax in tuna juice when he starts getting corked up.

  12. I Love fireworks! I just got invited to Tampa to see some. We are more south than you and they just don’t always get it. Hope the gang over there doesn’t get scared.

  13. hahaha taking up all the room, no sharing there. Hopefully Sister Gracie is all well and good now. Yuck to the vet and the bills aren’t thrills

  14. Purrs to Gracie
Dad gives us a homemade meal that has Guar Gum in it. He swears (not swears) that it helps Buddy’s sticky bum (not a sticky bum) Only a dab blended into wet food may help. check with your white coat.
    Goodness peep talk is confusing.

  15. Sending lots of extra purrs and prayers for Sister Gracie that she’s feeling fit and fine very soon. One kitty’s tummy should always be off limits to the other kitties, unless invited. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  16. I hope Sister Gracie is doing better after her visit to the vet. Hopefully, we’ll hear tomorrow.

Brian, I’m not sure how Sister Sascha is supposed to ignore that wonderful tummy!

  17. Sending healing purrz to Gracie. Hope she’s feeling much better. You are getting your EZ on a couple of days early. We don’t get many fireworks up here.
