Listen to that! Did you hear it? Me neither, and that is a good thing. I was thinking, I know, I know, but it does happen. Anyways, I was thinking about that wonderful sound of nothing going on. Do you like it too?
We had some noisy humans in the house over the past couple of months when they were replacing the upstairs heating and air conditioning. I really enjoy not hearing them. Then we’ve had those thunder boomers forever and while they are not here right this minute, the weather guessers are saying they will return.
So today at least, I am really thankful for quiet. Now I shall nap. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We like quiet, too, Brian, and we’re really glad you’re getting some. Sounds like a perfect time for a nap!
enjoy the sound of silence
Yay for peace and quiet Brian and oh do those repair dudes have unusual smells
Hugs Madi your BFFF
Enjoy your peace and quiet Brian. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
Oh Brian, we so agree. Nothing better than Peace and Quiet. Hope you all have a good day. Take care.
We love peace and quiet too. During the day here in our concrete jungle, it can be pretty loud but by evening, it quiets down nicely.
The sound of ‘quiet’ is always nice to hear once in awhile. 🙂
xo Catherine
We don’t like thunder boomies either Brian and usually cuddle up with Mum when we hear them. We are glad your noisy workmen have finished and moved on to torture someone else’s ears.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
The sounds of peace and quiet are the best sounds in the world.
🙂

We are sitting in silence now Brian, sometimes it’s nice to be quiet 🙂 xx0xx

Yes quiet is nice, but when you live in an apartment building, there are plenty of strange noises
At our old house, it seemed like we had workers nonstop the whole time I was there! (I don’t know what it was like for the year before I came home.) And nobody even installed an air conditioning unit until after we moved! My human knows they did because she went to their open house last year when THEY sold so she could see what they did with the place… it looked like they had lots of workers there too, MOL! I wonder if they had cats, and if they were as annoyed as we were.
I miss the sound of silence too – I have just ONE noisy human but that’s more than enough. I’m glad you can relax now. Have a silent sursday :o)
Oh yeah, we agree, Brian! Sometimes, the best sound of all is peace and quiet. 🙂
Enjoy that snooze, pal. And Happy World Cat Day!
I love the quiet too Brian! Quiet is pretty rare around here with my human children lol. Hope I can hear lots of quiet today though because my head is hurting!
It’s been a little too quiet around here.
Ah…we can’t wait to hear “nothing” again. Right now, we have a few cats boarding with us and boy oh boy, they sure like to talk!
Our mommy loves the quiet, but Dad always has the t.v. or music playing. And we make plenty of noise begging for what we want. Please stop by our Thankful Thursday post. There is an award awaiting you there. Happy International Cat Day. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo.
My cats like to nap in their tree by the printer and they are never very happy on days when Mom is printing a lot of stuff! Funny, though, you cats don’t mind making all kinds of noise early in the morning when you want to eat and everyone else wants to sleep???
I wish I had some quiet at night. All night long since I’ve been here they’ve been jack-hammering and drilling on the Lincoln Tunnel helix which is practically outside our window. Although, I do ignore it better than my humans who need ear plugs.
I sure enjoy the sound of silence too now and then 🙂
Quiet is wonderful. It’s rare around here too. Hope you get some nice naps in.
We love Quiet.
Brian more than anything we would like some quiet and peace to fall our way.
I am so glad you have your peaceful home back, Brian! And it should be the perfect temperature now too 🙂
Quiet is very good, but it was too quiet when we lost our innernets.
It is quiet here too. Let’s hope it stays that way!
I am thankful for quiet too but living with “Bob Barker” I don’t get to enjoy it that much! MOL! Love, Cody
Very true, but we don’t mind our own noise. Oui Oui isn’t disturbed at all digging to China in the middle of the night. Maybe our sounds don’t qualify as noise?
How awful it must have been to have all that noise in your home. I’m glad you’re enjoying the peace and quiet.
I had a quiet day too. Mommy or brovver or no one was home!
quiet is good for recharging you inner batteries,xx Speedy
