T.G.I.F. Throne Guarding

One thing fur sure friends, we made it to Friday!  It’s been pretty busy around these parts and there has been a fair amount of window whiffin’ going on.  Maybe I should clarify, there’s been lots of morning whiffin’ going on.  It has been pretty hot around here.  It wasn’t hot for the longest time because of all the monsoons, but now that summer is almost over the hots came back.  It is supposed to be more fall like this weekend so maybe we’ll even get some evening whiffies.

On another front, Kit has been spending a lot of time in My Throne.  Seriously, she has even been sleeping on my Throne at night.  So my time on My Throne has been somewhat limited.  I’ve been trying to think of a way to protect My Throne from any sort of coup attempt and have come up with a plan.  My T.G.I.F. for today is Throne Guarding Is Feasible!

Problem solved! I’ll just have a sleep over and put my best foot forward. Well, it should work until I get up for a snack!

  20. Brian, you had us so confused. We thought maybe you were inviting all of us to your place for a sleepover! Then we studied the photo and figured it out. Guess if you can have your meals delivered and are willing to give up window whiffies, you can have your throne all to yourself for as long as you want!   24. You might have to have your food brought to you or she might steal it. LOL. So glad you’ve been getting some window whiffin in. Been real hot but; today my kitties got some window whiffin in cause it’s cooler.

  29. Oh it has been so hot here too! But we’ve been having some rainstorms in the evenings which is OK with me. Hope your plan works with your throne Brian!

  31. My cats seem to each have a different favorite spot where they usually do their napping but…one scratching post has a spot that they sometimes fight over.

  33. I understand your dilemma. I HATE when my brothers or sisters try to invade my private fort behind the Watching Chair! You came up with a good solution but your throne is still vulnerable when you need snacks or leg stretchies. Can you give Kit the job of temporary keeper of the throne for just those times? Maybe she would be flattered enough to vacate when you wanted to use it. You know, like Special Protector for the King (momma and I are watching Showtime’s The Tudors so maybe that is where I am coming from).
