Elizabeth is available at Foster Paws Rescue in Greenville, SC:
My name is Elizabeth, and 6 weeks ago, I found myself in a terrifying place. I was in an animal shelter, crowded in a cage with my 5 tiny babies. It was so scary, loud, crowded, and I felt worried about the future of myself and especially, my babies. Beyond the odds, I made it out with my family intact. I was selected from 30 other moms and their babies to be put into a foster home thanks to Foster Paws Rescue. My foster mom gave me a giant bedroom, a soft bed, and lots of toys to keep me and my growing kittens occupied. I blossomed. I was skinny but was able to keep my kittens nourished. When I started to finally gain some weight, my kittens thrived. I am ever-so thankful for this chance at a new life. My babies are now 8-9 weeks old, and ready to go to their new home. And then I can concentrate on myself, being part of a family of my own. I am affectionate, independent, kind, and I love to talk once in a while. I haven’t had enough time to myself to play, so I don’t know how I will be when I am in my own home. I am very protective of my babies around dogs and try to scare dogs away. Maybe I will get used to them when I don’t have babies to look after? I like people and kids a lot. There are other foster cats in the house, and I have not really paid any attention to them. I am neat and easy-going. I think I would be a good house-kitty for just about anyone. I am a young adult.

Elizabeth is a very beautiful girl! I’m so glad that Foster Paws rescued her and her babies. I know the kittens will have no trouble finding good homes, but I really hope someone kind and loving adopts sweet Elizabeth too. It sounds like she’s had a rough time of it and she deserves to be pampered.
Glad they were rescued from that horrible cage, standing up to dogs is a plus too. Hopefully a home comes due for all of you
