Mancat Monday: A Health Update, The Old Mancat, Bailey and Mouses

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
Thanks once again for all the purrs, prayers and well wishes.  Believe me, I’m more than ready to feel better and I think I am doing better once again.  But we’ll sure take some more purrs that the all better sticks around for more that two weeks.  I’m still trying to figure out how to make relapse into a four letter word!  For now, I’m just hugging the cat tree because it sure is a nice place to curl up and keep warm.

Hey, we were all really excited around here yesterday because we saw a feral kitty we haven’t seen for at least six months.  We call him Big Head because his head is floofy and huge.  He is likely the Papa of the ferals we care for and we thought that handsome mancat was gone.  Nope, he was out at the feeding station yesterday.  He looked great and has his winter coat on.  Dad went out and talked to him for a bit and told him how glad we were to see him.  Obviously he has been enjoying one of the other fine dining establishments in our neighborhood.  But seeing him again did bring smiles all around.

Anywho, I just have to tell you how proud I am of my little friend Bailey, and I know quite a few of you know this handsome boy…

Congrats Bailey!!!
A panel of judges selected handsome Bailey as The Cutest Dog in a Las Vegas contest. We think the judges are very wise, congratulations Bailey!

Then, to top off my Mancat Monday, I received a very nice award from my sweet friend Nylablue.

Thanks Nylablue
Thanks my dear friend!  I know a lot of you already know Nylablue, who has been struggling with her health lately.  I have just recently met this beautiful gal and we all just love her to pieces.  Thanks sweet friend for sharing your award with us.

That’s a wrap for Mancat Monday.  I hope your week is totally purrfect and remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I am so glad you are feeling better. xx

I came to say thank you so much for the visit with loving comments when we lost our sweet boy. So appreciated and helped us so much. Hugs Carol x

  2. Joey the Nike Cat

Hey Brian thanks for stopping by on Caturday. Yes Bear is rather helpful, but I’m sure it’s just a phase. After all he just hasn’t sorted out how to be aloof and gentlemanly yet…like me. He’s always making a racket to get everyone’s attention. This helpfulness may just be a ploy to get the Mom Lady to feed him more.

Well the Mom Lady says thanks fur all the purrz fur Katie Kitty Too… She tried to send you an email but it bounced back. Purring that you stay well and healthy, Joey.

  6. Fuzzy Tales

Brian, we’re sending lots of purrs that you don’t have another relapse. You look a bit sad in that photo, at least to our human. She’s sending you cuddles and smooches.

We were just thinking about you yesterday Brian and mama sighed out loud about wanting you to get better and be your old self again.

BTW, we have ferals that we feed and we know for sure that there are many feeding stations in our neighborhood too. And recently one of the ones that we fed a long time ago who disappeared without saying goodbye had come back to the front yard and so we again put out food for her there. We are so happy, but she’s not as friendly as before. Do you think they remember us?

  15. Selina

We’re continuing to purr for you, good buddy! MomKatt says “Hi” to your DadKatt!

  20. Glogirly & Katie

Brian, we’re so sorry to hear you’re still not feeling up to snuff…that’s no fun at all. I’m sure that cat tree is warm and comfy, but it can’t purr for you like your friends can! So we’re sending a nice fresh batch.
    xoxo

  21. Cathy Keisha

Aw, Brian, I really really want to purr hard enough to make you all better. I’m gonna ramp up those Healing Purrs and maybe do a #Pawcircle out on #Briansporch. It worked for Clooney.

  22. The Island Cats

Brian, we’re glad you’re feeling better but we’re gonna keep the purrs going for you so that you continue to feel better and don’t have another relapse. Bailey is pretty cute. We can see why the judges picked him. 🙂

  23. Kitties Blue

Brian, we know you want to turn relapse into an HBO four-letter word, but we have a better idea. How about leaving off the front and the back? You get LAPS…a place where you should be spending all your time until you are 100 % well again. We are so glad you have gotten to know our sisfur, Nylablue, and that she gave you the pawsome MOUSES award. You all deserve it, and maybe a few real mousies and nip mousies as well. It is always the best feeling when you see an old friend who you think has gone from your life forever. Glad BIG HEAD has returned. Congratulations to Bailey. We also agree with the judges. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  24. Sushi

  26. TK

We are still purring, my friend.
We are also glad that Big Head is safe. He must know yours is the best place to be when the weather turns bad.
    You to Bailey.

  27. Christine Michaels- Riverfront Cats

aah Brian, my handsome long-distance love. So sorry to hear you’re still under the weather. Perhaps a jaunt to Miami will perk you up!

What a coincidence you mentioned BigHead! We are in the midst of saving another “BigHead” now named Blackie. He’s a smokey black cat and a survivor of the hood. He’s beat the odd before so we want to give him a second chance.

Hope you feel better soon. Sending warm sunny purrs!

  28. emma

I think you are trying to be a strong kitty, but I bet you are hanging onto that tree so you don’t end up at the vet again! Hope you keep improving!
