Dang, it sure has been cold down here in the South and I sure hope that isn’t a preview of things to come. Oh, we’re nice and warm in the house, but we always worry about our ferals. They always seem okay when them come running for breakfast, but we still worry about them out there in the cold.
Hey, several of you have been asking about how Sister Sascha and I are doing, and thanks for that. I’m doing just fine so far. I’ve been feeling great and we’re just hoping I won’t have another relapse. Sister Sascha, on the other paw, is still not well. Sister Sascha has a severe case of sinus drainage that has been causing her to cough and sneeze like crazy. The peeps have been trying to give her antihistamine meds but, true to her spirit, Sister Sascha has been most uncooperative. I am so easy to give pills to, but Sister Sascha wins the prize for being my most feisty sister…paws down, she wins. But the peeps shall keep trying, no matter what she says.
So, that’s a wrap from here. I hope y’all manage to keep plenty snuggly warm. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It’s cold in Oklahoma, too! Stay warm and well, kittehz! We’ve been purring for you.
Happy Mancat Monday!
Sending healing vibes and POTP to sister Sascha. Stay warm and cosy. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
oh no.. poor sascha….I am sorry that she isn’t feeling well, but glad you are… Paws crossed that ALL of you feel purrfect very soon…
Brian we are so glad that you are still all right. Now just stay that way. Sister Sascha, you need to let the peeps give you those pills. Sending tons of purrs that everyone stay healthy over there. Take care.
It´s *BRRRR* over here too today , but the sun is shining from a clearblue sky 🙂
My crazy mom-person is going to drive her motorcycle today to the wintergarage , I guess she is glad she has no balls to freeze off *mol*
Sending (((purrs))) to you and your sisfur <3
XOXO
Oh oh, poor Sascha. We have some of the sinus sneezies here too. My vet said she thought since there was no sign of other symptoms, Toby might have a small intranasal polyp that was causing sort of permanent irritation. We did a couple of short courses of antihistamines (of course he’s the only one in the house that doesn’t scarf down Pill Pockets) which didn’t seem to make a great amount of difference, so if you guys come up with anything else please post all about it!
Yuck to the allergies and the pill, to neither of us is that a thrill. Hopefully she’ll be on the mend soon, glad you are and lets hope it will finally stick.
Awwwwww sister Sascha!! You adorable sweetheart! We are so sorry to read you’re not well – we send you tons of purrs and comfort hugs! Please get better!! Awwww!
Lovely Brian – you stay warm and rested too! Take care

Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I think also about cats and dogs without home when it is cold outside. That’s so sad. I hope Sasha feels better soon and you will have a wonderful Thanksgiving together.
Glad to hear you are doing good, Brian. Maybe you can have a heart to heart talk with Sister Sascha about how important it is to take her meds. Keeping our paws crossed she feels better soon. Stay warm!
We’re hoping Sister Sad ha feels better soo

Brian we are glad to hear the report is pretty darn good and we hope that Sister Sascha will let your Mom and Dad give her the meds she needs. We know that there are easy and hard kitties around here to medicate as well. Sending lots of purrs.
It’s freezing here too so I know how youse feel!!!
Love Milo 🙂
Poor Sister Sascha. We know what it’s like to not feel well so we’re purring for her to feel better soon. And for you to keep feeling good, Brian!
Purrs to Sascha and paws crossed that you continue to do well, Brian!
we got the pretty-danged-colds up here too. 🙂 Mom keeps an eye out for our Allie….
glad you are both mostly doing better. mom says she thinks Amelia may have been taking lessons from Sister Sascha on the pill thing – holy moly she is a terror
You both need to get in top shape so you can climb the Christmas tree to get the family in the holiday spirit.
Oh yes mama is worried about the ferals/neighborhood cats in this weather, even though they tend to sleep inside our tool shed.
Good news about you Brian and we hope the sister will get better soon.
Sascha may be the feistiest—cheers to her—but you got the looks. Love those handsome mancat looks of yours. Glad you’re feeling better and hope Sascha will be soon.
Hi Brian, Mom finally came out of her hole and let me say Hi to you and the gang. Sorry to hear about Sister Sascha. Tell her she would feel a lot better if she would take her pills. You take care too Brian. Have a Great Thanksgiving.
Love,
Cleo and Mom
We are glad you are well and cozy warm indoors!
We feel bad for outdoor kitties too.
Our Treasure hats taking meds. He runs off anytime he sees Mom,
and will not let her come near.
We purr Sascha be caught, take her meds and get better.

It is freezing here in Yorkshire tonight. Cuddle up together and keep warm Brian.
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
Brrrr humbug is right. It is just too, too cold. It was 21 degrees the last two mornings and that biggie storm is coming our way. We hate it and so does our mom. She gets so grumpy. Brian, since you are feeling better, Mauricio says that you should stop by the Campfire at Cat Scouts and warm up. We are really sorry for Sascha. Tell the humans to get some of the Greenies pill pockets. That’s what worked with Lisbeth. And we’ll keep her in our prayers. Purrs and hugs, Mauricio, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth… Read more »
Brian, it’s been really cold here too. Too cold too early if you ask us!
We’re glad you’re doing better…but we continue to purr for you and Sister Sascha and we hope she will soon be well.
Healing purrs to you Sister Sascha!!
Since I was out of town I didn’t know that Sister Sascha wasn’t well, I am hoping that she makes a full recovery soon! Have you tried giving her pill pockets?
Oh no, we didn’t know about Sascha, huge purrs and prayers to her for her to start feeling better ASAP! We are so glad you are feeling better Brian, we always keep you in our thoughts.
We hope you are both better very soon, sending lots of purrs!

Brian I am so happy you are doing well. I do hope Sister Sascha gets better soon. My Tubby not very cooperative with pills either. He has teeth and claws and knows how to use them.
Charlie, Cashew, Garfield, Tubby sending extra hugs and purrs to Sascha.
Oh my stars you kitties. You must stay well please!
So keep indoors, get plenty of rest and fluids and extra special treats if you are allowed and some extra skritches and belly rubs…and… 😉
xo Catherine
Glad u are better. SIster Sasha must have watched that “how to give a cat a pill cartoon”…LOL
Glad you’re cozy & warm. I’m warm inside too even though it’s getting cold here. We also worry about our neighborhood kitty Squatty out in the cold at night. It will get below freezing here in the winter and we’re still thinking about making him a little shelter. Whether or not he uses it is up to him.
Hope Sister Sascha gets well soon. Sneezing slobberies is no fun!
BRIAN! So good to hear you are doing so well! Keeping paws crossed for you though!
The Human worries that I will be like Sister Sascha or worse if she ever has to give me pills. Sigh. I am NOT a Good Boy like you.
Brian, I am so happy to hear that you are feeling better but so sorry to hear that sister Sascha has some health troubles. I will send her lots and lots of healing purrs and I just know they will help. I wish she would cooperate with the pills but we know it’s hard to understand that the peeps are just trying to help.
Please tell your Dad how thankful I am for his friendship.
Oh your poor mum & dad! Pilling a cat who is resistant is a blood curdling experience and the kitties no like it either! MOL! We are more than pleased to hear you are doing better! Let’s hope Sister S gets better soon.
xoxo
Ms. Stella O’Houligan
Sending Sister Sasha loads of healing paws Brian. It’s real cold here too xxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Brian we are glad you are well ,we also worry about the poor animals that are left to battle the elements..it’s so unfair..we hope they at least find some relief at your place. And poor Sascha..pills and cats ..never a good time..we have some who are ok and others we have to try and trick..very hard!! i hope she gets hers meds in and recovers well..it own’t help that her sense of smell will be not so good..perhaps the meds in some heated food (really smelly stuff) hugs Fozziemum and gang xxx
What is going on with our moggies lately 🙁 Sasha you get well soon girlfriend xxx
Ditto on the too cold, too early. It was minus 20 Celsius with our windchill early on Sunday AM and we, too, thought about all the ferals and roaming kitties in our city.
But hey, we’re all one day closer to Spring, right? 🙂
Paws crossed for Sister Sascha (and you), that she’s back to 100% very soon and that you don’t have any more relapses.
I hope Sister Sascha will let your humans give her her pills so that she can get better. We’re sending purrs for her!
It’s been very cold in the state named after me too. Okay, less cold than in NY but still…
Sister Sascha you must be good and take your pills. I am glad you are doing well Brian.
We are happy you feel better and definitely don’t have another relapse. Many purrrsss for Sister Sarah to join you in wellness. Stay warm – our little part of Florida will drop to 49 degrees tonight. Sheesh! That’s darn near freezing!
The wind has been blowing cold here. Banjo and I have been trying to keep warm.
Keep well kitties!
