Rest In Peace Ginger Jasper, I will love you forever and with all my heart

Such shock and sadness, seriously, I’m numb.  Our dearest friend Ginger Jasper has made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge.  Believe me, it is so tough typing between all the tears, but there is some things I just must say.

First to Carol and Barrie, the world shares your grief and pain and the the world loved your Ginger Jasper.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing his life with all of us.  We are all so much better off as a community because you and GJ were here to guide us.  Please accept a virtual hug from all of us.

Now, Ginger Jasper, dang pal, just dang.  I know it was your time to depart but I just cannot imagine our blogosphere without you in it.  Thank you GJ for being such a friend all these years and for always being there for everyone when they needed you the most.  I know you will be watching over all of us GJ.  Please know that you will live in our hearts forever and we will always, always love you.  I will be sitting by my window tonight looking for your star and I know the brightness of your star will illuminate the tears on my whiskers.   You, my friend, were truly one of a kind, and an inspiration to so, so many of us.

I love you Ginger Jasper and I always, always will.

Brian, Sascha, Gracie, Zoe, Dolly, Precious, Kit, Dad and Mom

Although we didn’t know Ginger Jasper, we are so, so sorry to hear of his journey to the Bridge. Mom & I will go let them know we are thinking of them.

Even though we all know it was GJ’s time to leave us, it doesn’t make us any less sad, and I know I will miss him terribly. 🙁 Purrs to his humans, who stood by him throughout his illness and gave him the best a kitty could ask for.

Such a lovely tribute to a very special friend to us all. In his passing, as in his life, Ginger Jasper, is a galvanizing force pulling the blog family together…in our sadness, in our tears, in our shared desire to provide comfort to his family. You are right, we were better because of him and are somehow less now that he is gone.

GJ was a great ManCat, and although I did not know him until just last year, we grew very fond of him. We are sending love and purrs to his Mum and Dad and all his friends XOXOXO

And, in the midst of the sadness, joy that Pinky has been saved, so more XOXOXOXOXO

That was a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to Ginger Jasper. It is so sad to lose a long-time friend known and loved by so many. We know that GJ is now at peace at the RB and that too is important as things had become so confusing and upsetting for him. And we are sure he feels all the outpouring of love coming his way. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
