Hello everyone! How cool I get to see you again so soon. I do want to thank you for the nice comments when Brother Brian posted my picture and it is very nice to know that you didn’t forget about me MOL! Yes, I still love my favorite toys and give them some hugs and kicks every once in a while.
Hey, I did notice something quite disturbing though. I’ve told you have have the best seat in the house since I live upstairs. My cat tree overlooks the backyard and my view is much better than the others have downstairs. Anyways, back to the disturbing. I woke up the other morning, did my big morning stretch, and got up to look out of the back window. That’s when I noticed it. Someone came in the backyard during the night and took most of our leaves. Seriously, most of the trees are almost naked. I tried to get Dad’s attention, but he didn’t seem overly concerned. Mom neither. But they really are missing. Unfortunately this seems to happen every single year. I’ve even checked on eBay and nobody has them for sale. Maybe they went South for the winter with the birds. Oh wait, that’s not it, we are in the South. I know, I’ll just sleep on in a while and maybe this thing will solve itself!!!
That’s it for me and my mystery. I sure hope you all have a totally super weekend! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Oh Precious, someone is stealing all our leaves too. There sure is a bad thief around these parts. But I bet they will be returned in about six months.
Anyway, hope all of you have a fantastic Saturday. Take care.
Precious the thief must have help from lots of accomplices as nearly all the leaves here have disappeared too – that’s far too many for leaves for one thief!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh no.. not those leave thieves… They come every year… but don’t worry. In a few months the leaf fairies will return the leaves!
Sister Precious! I also have Leaf Thief stuffs going on here! WHO is DOING that? Now ib our case, they are lying on the GROUND! So the thief must have still had his arms full with yours!
Forget about you? Not going to happen. What would happen if the gate at your stair landing came down?
Oh No Leave thief’s are on the loose BOL Have a super weekend xxoxx
Mollie and Alfie
Wow Precious,, that’s really a mystery… and it happens every year? Must be a serial thief, I think :o)
So the leaves just up and left? How rude is that
Gasp – you have a leaf napper in the neighborhood. That is not good at all. I wonder if that same napper has been coming here cuz some days we have lots of leaves and some days not so much – where do the original ones go? Tell Brian M purchased one of those books. She was sad tho that she doesn’t have a Kindle – but a Nook instead.
That’s horrible that your trees are naked. Some of ours are getting that way thanks to last weekend’s major windstorm but many of ours will stay green all year.
Wow!! Precious I gotta watch for those sneaky thieves ’cause I went and looked out my window and the leaves are still there! Maybe they have to drive further west to get here! Thanks for letting me know, there are so many tree I might have to call the tree police to help me! Hope you have a great weekend…Purrs & Hugs from all of us!
That is very rude of someone to come and steal your leaves sister Precious.
Sounds like quite the mystery Precious! We still have a pretty good amount of leaves down here. Maybe they will all fall off the trees sometime soon. I hear it will be very cold next week!
We still have lots of leaves here in southern California… and no, we did not take yours! 😉
Sister Precious….you do for sure have the best seat in the house…mom once read cats are either bush dwellers/like to sit low or tree dwellers like to sit high. I love being at least eye level with the mom
Hugs madi your bfff
Hi Sweet Precious…..our leaves flew South – I thought you got them:)
That’s quite a mystery, Sister Precious. We hope those leave thieves don’t come here coz we don’t like our trees nekkid. 😉
Precious, if you find out who stole your leaves, please let us know, okay? We think the same robber stole OUR leaves, too!
Someone stole our leaves also. They also stole our warm air and a lot of our sunshine. Every year this happens….why can’t they catch these thieves??
Precious the Mom here would love to have someone come and steal her leaves. She is going to have to get out there and rake them up soon! Happy Caturday.
MOL Precious if you look closely you will see the leaves on the ground, unless your Daddy is more industrious then ours and raked them up. They are very funs to play with especially the big sycamore ones. And if your Daddy rakes them up it is great fun to run through the piles. We all loves doing that. Sorry we has no clue why they decide to stop living on the tree and fall to the ground, but you are right they does it every year.
Oh Precious…maybe they bought them here! we have been getting leaves…what a strange thing to happen indeed..at least you have your great lookout to keep tabs on these things 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx
Precious you are so cute.
They took our leaves too but left the big spiders.
We didn’t know Hilary is your sister-in-law. We hope we can remember tomorrow. That sounds like a good deal for her book.
Um, Precious, if you’re concerned about someone stealing your leaves, we’ll be glad to share ours with you. Someone keeps sneaking in here and dumping them in our pen, so we’ve got LOTS!
Yo Precious. This is the way it is: trees are the opposite of cats. We get a heavy winter coat this time of year but trees shed theirs. Around here the outside cats lay in the leaves cos they’re warm.
The leaves around here are disappearing too. It must be a…conspiracy! 🙂
Hi ya, Precious. Y’know, the same thing happened with our trees. Do you think there’s a serial leaf stealer going around and stealing all the leaves from the trees??
Your leaves are gone! Oh no! Ours are gone except someone went and threw them on the ground for us to clean up. Can you believe that? Love your picture. Very pretty. Have a great Saturday.
Aw, Precious, I know you must miss them, but I can almost *promise* you they’ll get returned in about five months.
We think whoever took your leaves left them in our yard.
Leaf thieves.
They’re EVERYWHERE!!!
PS….we had no idea that Hilary was your sis-in-law! We just love her blog!
: )
Leaves never disappear in our country as we live near the tropics but lately we are getting lots of rain. Is the air getting colder too at your side, precious? Purrs!
It starts with leaves but then it will be our dinners – keep your eye out for them Precious!
Dip Bridge and Elliot x
We are wondering if all your tree leaves blew into our yard sweet Precious, we have leaves all over our yard and our trees still have some leaves on them. Mumsy said they came from the neighbors trees but we can see leaves on their trees too so do you think these leaves here are yours? You are looking beautiful sweet girl. Hugs and nose kisses
Good you live in the south…here after they take the leaves they steal our grass and replace it with a white carpet!
Sister Precious you can come over here, we have LOTS of leaves left!
Hope you kitties are all having a super weekend!
xo Catherine
Same thing here Precious and our Dad did not even notice. It may be that they do like the cicada and dig underground for some time. They seem to sleep for 6 months or so and, BLOOM! They are back
Mysterious indeed
Timmy
