This has been no fun, no fun at all. It all started with a sort of sneeze. I say a sort of sneeze because it sounded like a sneeze in reverse. I got hauled off to the Animal Emergency Clinic where I got to see Dr. Elliott. He is a very nice Vet and if Dad has to take one of us there he is always happy when Dr. Elliott is on duty.
Anyways, it all really started because I threw up for a couple of days. Then the reverse sneezing and coughing started. Dr. Elliott checked all of my vitals, which were fine. He said that basically my sinus drainage was causing the sneeze like things and the coughing plus my throat and nasal passages were irritated from throwing up. I got 3 different shots and took some Pepcid for a few days to help settle my stomach.
Then I started regular old sneezing. My Dad had already scheduled me a follow up visit with our regular Vet, Dr. Anderson with The Cat Clinic of Greenville. She agreed with Dr. Elliott, I got a couple more shots and was told to take some benedryl to help dry out my sinus passages. Well guess what? I’ve been fighting that pill thing every step of the way and have mostly been on the winning end of the battles. You would be so proud of me kitties, I am quite the fighter!
So, after all that, I guess I am mostly better, but still sneezing and taking some antibiotics. Such fun. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
We’re purring you feel better soon, Sister Sascha. Good for you fighting the yucky pill. LOL. Though our human says if you’d take them, you might not have to keep going back to the vet. 🙂
Still sending healing vibes and POTP. We hope you are all getting better now.
Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Sister Sascha, glad to hear that you are at least on the road to recovery. We sure send lots of purrs to you and to Gracie too. Hope Gracie is doing better now. We have a bunch of sneezing, coughing cats around here too. It is not any fun at all. Take care and everyone get better soon. Take care.

I am so glad you are feeling better sweet girl… But I am also so worried about your sister Gracie. Please update when you can…
Do you make sure to salivate and drool all over the pill before you spit it out? I know that frustrated Mommy lots when I needed to take my pills…..so she switched to the paste antibiotics…Which Tutu WILLINGLY ate. That traitor.
We’re keeping all of you in our purrayers. We hope you’ll be able to give us an update on Gracie when you can.
…Ling
Poor sweetie!
Banjo and I send lots of kisses and hugs!

By the looks of your airplane ears, Sister Sascha, there must be an evil pill close at hand. Glad you are feeling better.
Dear Sister Sascha you’ve been through the mill! We are glad you are better and we hope that you just feel better and better and better. WE are still purrin though and our thoughts are with Sister Gracie and hope she is doing better too. We know Mom and Dad are very worried about all of you. It’s been very hard for them.
(hugs)

I don’t like reading about this plague you started around your house. Sending enough healing purrz to surround your entre house. Now I’m gasping from all that purring cos I’m not normally a purrer.
The Human and I are sending you and your Sisters so many purrs and purrayers, Sascha! We are awful sorries you have some kind of bug! And I am purring especially hard for Gracie–it kind of sounds like whatever this bug is, is worse for her because of her underlying asthma? Poor girl! We hope she is still comfortable this morning XOXOXOXO
I hope you feel better soon. All my best wishes and crossed paws to all of you.
Oh honey what an ordeal! Good to hear you are getting better!

Those Greenies pill pockets worked wonders when Mom and Dad were trying to give Lisbeth her pills. We’ve got you all as well as your humans in our prayers. One of Mom’s all time favorite vets is at our Emergency Vet. She saved Lily’s life (along with our regular vet) when she was hit by a car ten years ago. When you have lots of kitties, it is good to know the Emergency Vet. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
