Hello everyone! Dad finally gave my blog back to me and such good timing since it is Thankful Thursday. Let me tell you, we’ve got so very much to be thankful for, and that’s putting it mildly! Five out of seven of us were very sick, and poor Sister Gracie was critically ill. So today I really do have a few things to say.
First let me say that I am very thankful for being able to sit on the table with out getting in trouble. My Mom didn’t yell at me, she just went and got the camera. Do I look busted or something? Well, tis the season to be jolly!
We all want to thank you for the outpouring of purrs, woofs and prayers from all of our friends. There were so, so many we couldn’t possibly thank each of you individually, but thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Your support during this very difficult time means so very much to all of us, and our Mom and Dad appreciate everyone one of you. Y’all are the best friends ever!!!
Then we would all like to thank the wonderful Vets and their terrific teams who cared so very much . Thanks to Dr. Carolyn Anderson from the Cat Clinic of Greenville for seeing us, often on the spur of the moment, when we really, really needed to be seen. Thanks to Dr. Bannister, Dr. Hess and Dr. Elliott, the wonderful Vets and staff at the Animal Emergency Clinic who fought so hard to save our sweet Sister Gracie. Thanks to Dr. Cousins, Dr. Presley and Dr. Martinez at Upstate Veterinary Specialists and the wonderful staff for the round-the-clock care given to Sister Gracie. These wonderful people worked together to help make it possible for Gracie to come home.
Just as a quick update, Sister Gracie is doing good, eating great and taking her medicine like a trooper. She is going to see Dr. Cousins this afternoon for a follow up visit and to have xrays of her lungs to make sure that the nasty pneumonia is going bye-bye. I’m doing fine, as is Sisters Sascha, Precious and Dolly. Sister Precious and I are still on antibiotics, but we are just about finished. Dad says we have to finish it off, no shortcuts. By the way, Sister Gracie will tell you all about her ordeal on Sister Saturday.
Then, I’d like to thank our dear friend Nylablue for sharing her One Lovely Blog Award with us.
We love you Nylablue and we worry about you sweetie. We all pass our best purrs and prayers on to you and, like I told you before, we promise not to sneeze on you.
That’s it from here, we’ve missed you all!!! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
It is GOOD to see you on the table! It’s just good to see you Brian. You had us all worried (and heck it must have cost your mum and dad sleepless nights!!)
You are home, get those paws busy and blogging.
WELCOME HOME!
Well Brian, you look handsome as always, even on top of the Christmas placemat.
Breathing a sigh of relief that all your furries are soo much better! The furries here are doing fairly well. Lil Bear was getting really sick over the weekend, but now he is soo much better too.
Thanks for the Christmas card! We’ll be sending one back (with a surprise…)
Purrz,
Katie Kat
Miranda forgot to thank the skilled and tireless veterinarians who helped. They Rock!
Bravo for the vet team and lovely to see you Brian. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
It’s so good to hear that you’re all feeling better. High paw to the whole vet team for doing such a good job taking care of Gracie and helping her pull through a scary time.
We are so very glad that all of you are on the mend. That is just wonderful news. Good for you Brian to sit on the table. You are looking good too. So everyone just keep on healing up yourselves. Have a great day and stay warm.

This is the BESTEST news ever! Sounds like everyone is on the way to full recovery and just in time for the holiday. I’d say not only is that a wonderful holiday gift for your humans, it’s a wonderful holiday gift for all of us who worried about you and purrrayed you’d all be fine ASAP. Thanks for the wonderful news report. Now – HAVE SOME CHRISTMAS FUN!!!!
Kitty Hugs, Sammy
I am so grateful that you are all OK. I think this will be the best new blog I have ever seen since I started blogging. ALL of you have gone through the worst of times yet your made it through. And Brian, if it were me who was so sick (I was but not like Sister Gracie) my mom would let ME sit, stand or lay any darn where I wanted to, also. MOL. GREAT to see you sweet boy.
We are so pleased that you are all doing well and we hope you will all be better for your special Christmas together.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Congratulations on your award, Brian!
We’re really glad you have all made a full recovery from the recent illness. When WE were down with the flu, Daddy didn’t make any fuss when Tutu slept on the bed or when Ling sat on his desk. But now that we are all well again, we’ve been booted out of the bedroom and Daddy’s office. :p
It’s great that you are feeling frisky once again! Surely it won’t be long before all of you are as frisky as ever. Yes, the vet team did wonderful work. Congratulations on your award! The late Hemingway and Margo would sometimes get up on the table, but Millie and our Gracie, not so much.
We are so happy to hear that everyone is getting better! It is a Thankful Thursday indeed!!! Hugs, and purrrrrs to all of you!
So glad everyone is doing better! We’ve been thinking about you! Hugs!

That is lots of good things to be thankful for! I am happy to here that the sickies are leaving your house. they been staying over long past welcome!!
stay getting healthy 🙂 you look very festive on the table, hope mom doesn’t get any ideas to make you part of the dessert!
What a fantastic blog post. I’m happy to hear you’re all doing so much better.
And I think it’s wonderful that you got “caught” on the table but didn’t get in trouble. Humans are funny that way. Sometimes they get a little frustrated when we break the rules, but other times they’re just so thankful we’re in their lives that they don’t mind our naughtiness.
You sure do have LOTS to be thankful for!! And I love that photo of you on the table.
Oh Brian such a simple act of sitting on the table brings great joy to us all as a sign you are well. We are ECSTATIC for Gracie!!! Yes all have been praying, purring and woofing everyday. And mom even prayed the rosary just for Gracie!
Can’t wait for Sister Saturday.
Here’s looking at you kid!
We are so glad everyone is doing so well!
You all are what we are thankful for!
Purring for Nylablue too – and cheering you guys on to total health! YAY!!!! Such good news!

So glad you are all really on the mend now. And even though no one likes the stabby place or those ebil v-e-t-s, The Human and I are giving a Standing-O to the ones who saved Sister Gracie! XOXOXO ::appaws:: ::appaws:: ::appaws::
WE are just so happy that Gracie pulled through and that all of you are doing well!
Such good news, Brian. And wow, it sure is time! With so many sick friends as well as friends going to the RB, we couldn’t bear to lose any of you. Keep taking your medicines.
