You’ve heard us mention that our big cat tree was relocated for Christmas so the Christmas Tree could park where the cat tree usually lives. Well, this is what greeted Dad when he wanted to put everything back the way it was. Yep, I showed him the full claw monty! Dad, stop, in the name of love! Needless to say, I pulled out all the stops. Yep, I still lost, the cat tree headed back to it’s home base and the Christmas tree went packing.
As much as we all love Christmas, today I am thankful for the return of normal. Most of us kitties are big fans of normal, and we’re no exception. We will look forward now to Valentine’s Day as our next holiday. Hey, maybe we could have a Valentine Tree. Whatcha think???
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I need to put my tree up too! I employed my daughter to remove the ornaments today. Now we just have to do the hard part and pack it up! Happy New Year btw guys!
Wow Brian you sure have the power of the paw. We too are glad to be back to normal. Have a tremendous Thursday and we hope you had an awesome start to the new year.
Best wishes Molly
We are still trying to get back to normal here!
WOWZER Brian – those are claws to be reckoned with!! Mom and Dad clip mine before they get lethal but one day they’ll forget and I will be a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!!! Tee Hee Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it – I think a Valentine’s Tree is a grand idea….Good luck with that!
Hugs, Sammy
Good claw Brian, that was well said. Glad things are getting back to normal. We are almost there ourselves. Stay warm, going to get really cold.
haha good try, at least you had a few extra moments with it before normalcy came
my, my, my… what big paws you have…
We wouldn’t like you to box our ears with that paw Brian!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Those are some impressive claws, Brian. I’m surprised your dad didn’t defer to your fierceness. Well, it is good to get back to normal. Us kitties are true creatures of habit.

Now that Christmas is over, the tree and all the glittery balls are okay to play with in our house.
You’ve got mighty claws, Brian!
We are kind of relieved that Christmas is over…good to be back to normal 🙂
We’re mighty surprised those mighty claws didn’t stop your Dad!
We’re now getting ready for the Chinese New Year which starts on January 31. We aren’t looking forward to the loud boom booms during that period, though.

Kittycat rule of thumb: “Change is bad.” 🙂 Great photo!
why without my routine, I am not sure how I would ever spend my day???
I know what you mean pal – my peeps took ours down the day before New Years. I kinda miss it, but it’s easier for me to see out the front window now, which I like. Happy New Year buddy – we hope it’s a great one for you and your family – and a healthy one.
Wow Brian as we say down here claws in paws…what a great spot though to stretch and work of that xmas excess 😉 hugs Fozziemum xx
Yikes! Those claws are serious weapons, Brian. We’re amazed your dad dared to move the cat tree! :-p
You tried Brian. Your dad should have taken notice of the claws. I get to keep my Christmas tree until January 5th.

That would be a great idea: a valentine tree with all the kitty couples 😉
Dear Brian, those are mighty fine mitts. Yes to love and life. Thanks for being there for us at a sad time.
Brian, Mom still has her Christmas stuff out. May be awhile! MOL
Our tree came down today much to our dismay. We would love to have a tree in the house all the time!
yup, we’re creatures of habit too and even mom and dad don’t like change! those are some big-ole claws Brian.
Brian that is a great photo of you. Hope you are all doing well.
Look at those stretched out toes, Brian! Nobody’s going to mess with you when you make your claws that wide.
We’ve had Christmas trees that were still up on Valentine’s Day. Mom is doing much better with that the last decade or so. Our cat tree remained right in front of the window where it lives. Mom says it is too heavy to move, and she wouldn’t want to upset us by changing things. Sorry you didn’t get to keep your tree where you wanted it. Happy New Year! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Jo
A Valentine Tree!!!! YES! YES! YES!!!
Oh, Brian! We’re so sorry you lost that one. We are so impressed with all those manly claws!
