Thankful Thursday: Sandy Claws may be gone, but Brian Claws is here

Brian Claws! Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
You’ve heard us mention that our big cat tree was relocated for Christmas so the Christmas Tree could park where the cat tree usually lives.  Well, this is what greeted Dad when he wanted to put everything back the way it was.  Yep, I showed him the full claw monty!  Dad, stop, in the name of love!  Needless to say, I pulled out all the stops.  Yep, I still lost, the cat tree headed back to it’s home base and the Christmas tree went packing.

As much as we all love Christmas, today I am thankful for the return of normal.  Most of us kitties are big fans of normal, and we’re no exception.  We will look forward now to Valentine’s Day as our next holiday.  Hey, maybe we could have a Valentine Tree.  Whatcha think???

Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

I need to put my tree up too! I employed my daughter to remove the ornaments today. Now we just have to do the hard part and pack it up! Happy New Year btw guys!

WOWZER Brian – those are claws to be reckoned with!! Mom and Dad clip mine before they get lethal but one day they’ll forget and I will be a FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!!! Tee Hee Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it – I think a Valentine’s Tree is a grand idea….Good luck with that!

Good claw Brian, that was well said. Glad things are getting back to normal. We are almost there ourselves. Stay warm, going to get really cold.

Those are some impressive claws, Brian. I’m surprised your dad didn’t defer to your fierceness. Well, it is good to get back to normal. Us kitties are true creatures of habit.

Oh Brian we didn’t think you could show a fierce side of you, but this picture did just that!

Now that Christmas is over, the tree and all the glittery balls are okay to play with in our house.

We’re mighty surprised those mighty claws didn’t stop your Dad!
We’re now getting ready for the Chinese New Year which starts on January 31. We aren’t looking forward to the loud boom booms during that period, though.

I know what you mean pal – my peeps took ours down the day before New Years. I kinda miss it, but it’s easier for me to see out the front window now, which I like. Happy New Year buddy – we hope it’s a great one for you and your family – and a healthy one.

Oh, my goodness sweet Brian you have some super, duper claws…amazing!! We wish all of you, our sweet friends a very happy, and prosperous new year filled with lots of treats and good health. Hugs and nose kisses

We’ve had Christmas trees that were still up on Valentine’s Day. Mom is doing much better with that the last decade or so. Our cat tree remained right in front of the window where it lives. Mom says it is too heavy to move, and she wouldn’t want to upset us by changing things. Sorry you didn’t get to keep your tree where you wanted it. Happy New Year! Why not. Pop knows someone who has a Halloween tree. I’ll be glad when our tree is gone and so will TW cos she’s allergic to it. Great set of claws!
