Yes, I do look content, and yes, we do love our Fancy Feast, and yes, we all get bored sometimes. Me, I tend to like the Fancy Feast Classic Chicken although I do like the Fancy Feast Turkey & Giblets too. But every once in a while I just get a little bored. When I get bored I either don’t eat quite as much or I sometimes turn up my nose and walk away. Okay, the walk away thing doesn’t happen all that often, but it does happen.
Well, not all that long ago we finally got to try some freeze dried chicken treats. We’ve heard about the freeze dried stuff for a while, but we just never got to try them. Now, the freeze dried chicken is my favorite treat, and since it only has one ingredient, chicken, Dad says it is pretty healthy for us. Treat time happens hear right after our nightly playtime activities and I do look forward to that chicken stuff.
Bored. I got bored again with the regular mealtime menu so our Chef Dad decided to show me something a little bit different. Dad crumbled a small bit of the freeze dried chicken and mixed it in with my Fancy Feast Chicken entree. At first I gave him a look and then I took a closer look. I sniffed, I recognized, I tasted, I ate and I thanked the Chef. That was just the little extra yum I needed and it was darn good.
So, today I am thankful for an old Chef learning new tricks and that he was able to think outside of the pouch. Sometimes it’s the little things that yield great big smiles. Thanks Dad!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Isn’t it just the best to have a caring chef eh? Don’t you love it that they go the extra mile to serve the good stuff 🙂

You gotta keep those humans on their toes!
Brilliant idea Chef Dad had! I like it when my Mom “thinks outside the box/pouch/can” and gives me something just a bit different in the foodable department. Nice to have a creative chef in the house huh?
Hugs, Sammy
That is one great chef you have Brian in that Dad. What a good idea to mix those great treats in with your food. Those treats are very tasty. Hope all of you are staying warm as toast. Take care.
Brain have you got any hints so we can get our Mum as well trained as you have your Dad and those treats sound very moresome.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
you have one clever Daddy!!! He is a Culinary King!
We’re impressed that your dad did this for you, Brian. You *do* have him trained well. Maybe we’d get more treats if we got bored with our food too!
Brian
I think your Dad is right!
Babies, have a nice Thursday!!!
Think outside the pouch! MOL!
well you know Brian, mommy spent all those green papers on some freeze dried chick-hen and I turned my velvet nose up at it. Refused to do more than sniff. Mom was so disappointed.
What a great idea! That like to discover and old toy for new. You have a very smart dad, yay for dad!
Your dad is pawsome, Brian! It’s so sweet of him to make you a special dinner so you don’t get bored. Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S)
Brian, if you love the freeze-dried chicken treats, you should try some freeze-dried food mixed in with your Fancy Feast! I bet you would love it…and there are several flavors. I know that Primal makes a Turkey, a Chicken & Salmon and a Beef & Salmon for cats. Wonderful flavors, I think…and something to add some pizzazz to your current offerings.

Hugs madi your bfff
Sounds like a nice change.. glad you liked it
THat is one smart Dad. And you got treats with your meal!
Variety is good–at least that’s what my kitties also say.
Creative chef. No matter how creative ours gets we won’t eat it. Now a tray of raw chicken, that I try to steal
Annie won’t eat FF turkey or chicken, but she’s not like you, Brian. She sniffs, walks away and meows her displeasure until what she deems as proper food is put in its place. You have a good chef to put those yummy, healthy treats in your food. Love “think outside the pouch.”
An old chef learning new tricks definitely seems the way to go!
Wow, sounds like you have a chef who cares!
wow…..that sounds extra nommy
An “old chef”? Hey, I resemble that remark! 🙂 Seriously, though, you sure do get some great food!
Mmm , that sounded really super jummy *licking my nose*
XOXO
A creative and caring chef! Those are the very best kind.
We love freeze-dried chicken treats too!
Purrs,
The Chans
So what is that meal called? Fancy, Fancy Feast?
Your chef should get 5 stars from that E Gone Ronny person!! 😉
Hats off to the chef! My chef gets sneaky and adds water to my morning FF if it’s Classic.
Clever Dad! We love freeze-dried treats, also.
What a resourceful chief your Dad is as any greats know variety is purrfect for felines tastes.

You are lucky to have such a good chef Brian. Mine keeps serving me food that I no longer like. She bought me some new food yesterday and told me it is very expensive. It looks like human food! For goodness sake, surely she doesn’t expect me to eat that!!
That’s a smart chef. Sounds like a keeper Brian. I love your photo. Very handsome.
Mmmmm…we bet that was yummy, Brian. The mom does things like that for us too. She likes to mix things up, she says.
you have pawsome staff, Brian 🙂
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Sounds like you have trained your chef very well.
Your chef is a lot more creative than our chef! Ours just opens the cans. We tried freeze dried treats, if you can call sniffing then walking away trying, but they didn’t appeal to us.
Your Chef must be EyeTailYun creating those meowvalous din din dinners!
Your daddy is right~!

I wish I could teach my chef some new tricks. I bet Daddy does too. Usually when she tries something new it is awful. The humans are still complaining about the shrimp custard she tried out on them Friday. Thank Cat my food comes in a can and she doesn’t have a chance to destroy it. But it would be nice to have something new every once in awhile.
Your girl,
some times we just fancie something different don’t we Brian,xx Speedy
