Before I start, I want to wish my little woofie friend Bailey’s Mom and Dad a Happy Anniversary. Gin & Richard are celebrating their 32nd Anniversary today.
Yes, I am giving the weather guessers the stink eye. Now, they who haven’t a clue, are calling for a major winter storm for our area with snow and ice. It is supposed to start tonight, or maybe tomorrow, or maybe tomorrow night. See, they really don’t have a clue. I was so nice here yesterday with warm and sunpuddles everywhere.
Okay, just to clarify, a major winter storm for us seems to be anything more than 2 inches of snow, and snow with ice complicates it further. So the guessers are guessing at maybe 5 inches of snow for those just south of I-85, which would be us. I’m still trying to figure out exactly how the snow knows where the interstate is. So, paws crossed that it isn’t like the current guesses.
Have a great Monday everyone! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Snow depth depends on what yer used to. Iffen yer not used ta anny, then “some” is a lot.
Oh no Brian we hope it came and went quickly and that it wasn’t too bad. Have a marvellous Monday and stay warm and cosy.
Best wishes Molly
Sister Sascha tootsie’s are adorable. I want some snow to play, we need to build an arc with all the rain
We are so behind with blogging, we had intruders for the weekend.
Mollie and Alfie
Well, say safe, dry and warm during your storm Brian!
Geez, haven’t you guys had enough winter?
Congrats to your friends Brian this year we celebrate 32 years as well..goodness we all would laugh at the fashions of the day now!! And major storms…the weather peeps can get it wrong! we have had major heat and that they got right!! you want sun puddles and the girls here want clouds 🙂 my phone app had us having freezing sleet in 45C temps….a little off I would say ..have a wonderful day Brian hugs Fozziemum xx
I always wonder what they base their guesses on…. they’re never right around here.
Stay warm either way!
MOL! The Mom says that must be some smart snow! In any case, we hope that you don’t get much snow there.
Yup, we are not excited at all about that darn Winter Storm. And it is supposed to last for three days. We would like to know also, how the snow knows to come to our house. We didn’t invite him at all.
We sure hope you all have a great without snow and with some sun. Take care.
We are expecting winter storm tonight! Though it will be during night time and should not have any accumulation of snow. That’s good but we long for winter!
Stay warm and cozy, and have a happy new week!
stay warm & dry!
We are dry and mostly sunny today according to the guessers at our weather site – it’s just stopped hailing and gone to rain now – not quite sure how the sun fits in here! We hope your snow can’t remember where it was supposed to land and leaves you alone!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Holy carp, Brian! Those are words that should not ever be used down in your neck of the woods! Purring they will be wrong!
Hopefully they are wrong, 5 inches here we are used to, but there will shut everything down we bet haha
Aacck, not you guys too, with a blast of Arctic winter? Ugh! Tell your humans to stay off the roads and stay safe, because it will be very dangerous out there.
We would be giving the stink eye too if we heard a major winter storm was heading our way! We still have snow on the ground from last Monday! We hope the weather pundits are wrong and that the snow will pass you by!

We’re expecting that same system. Yuk! We haz snow fatigue, so we guess we’ll just go back to bed.
Great stink-eye you’re sending to that weather guesser!
XOXO
That weather report sounds real yukki !!
Stay warm and inside !
XOXO
Brian, you are so right! How woes the snow and Ice read a map and know where the county lines and major highways are!
Hope the snow passes you by…..thanks for thinking of my mom & dad today Brian.
hope the evil white stuff stays away from you
5″ of snow…we’re just thinking of all the snow cats we could build. But we’ll probably not feel the same if we REALLY got all that snow (and ice).
Stay warm and safe!
Yup, the winter of our discontent. Stay warm dear friends and thanks for your well wishes for Merlin.
We’re just starting to recover from our major winter storm. We hardly ever get them so five inches of snow covered by ice was a pretty big deal. Luckily, our weather yakkers were right on the money this time. Usually, they are WAY off! Stay toasty! Purrs…
Pee Ess – We LOVED seeing Brian’s photo over the weekend on the CB calendar!
OH NO IS RIGHT BRIAN….THEY ARE THROWING AROUND THE 4 LETTER WINTER WORDS HERE TOO. WE’LL WAIT AND SEE WHAT TOMORROW REALLY BRINGS. STAY WARM
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF

We love a good winter storm, but we don’t like the ice…be careful…if you are our in your catmobile driving around!
I hope that bad storm bypassed you and you didn’t get that snow. Happy anniversary to your friends xx
I hope that snow doesn’t find it’s way across I-85 Brian.
Can you try to blow it our way instead? BOL – we love snow – but not Mom.
Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
Oh Brian – that is downright pawful. I’m so sorry. We’re thankful the last few storms have missed us, but not at the expense of it going south and making life miserable for people who don’t live in a northern climate where they are equipped to deal with it. We hope that your family will be safe and that your power stays on so you have heat and lights.
Brian and gang, Our guessers swear they aren’t guessing this time except as to how much we will get starting Wednesday night…4 to 12 inches of snow. Winter, winter, go away and DON’T EVER come back. Good luck. Hope your guessers are totally off and you get nothing. Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Isn’t it about time for some nice weather for you? Too many storms…
Sorry to hear you are getting bad weather again. I know it is really hard for you folks in the south because you don’t have the snow plows and the salt that we have up north. However most of the time the plows around here are “somewhere else.” we think the plow drivers are off looking at Google Earth planning which mailboxes to mow down. The weather guessers up here use the interstate as a snow guide too. I guess the weather guessers think Mother Nature says “stop there is the interstate we have to cut the snow off here… Read more »
We will keep our paws crossed that the weather guesser are wrong. We started out at -6 this morning and it didn’t get much better. Supposed to get to +20 tomorrow, mom says not holding her breath since it is still so cold here. Love the stink eye!
Marty
Gee guys! We purr you do not get that bad weather!
We are kinds used to it and have the machines and stuff to
keep our roads clear and safe and furnaces to keep our home warm.
We just old man Winter would just go away!
Purrs Georgia and Julie,
Treasure,JJ
and Angels Tiger and Tillie
DIE, winter!!! We’re expecting 6 inches or so Wednesday night. We have about 20 inches on the ground now covered with 2 inches of ice. Is it ever gonna get warmer? Sigh, Brian, I think we both need a hug. {hug}
Love the photo of you Brian. What a handsome mancat. Happy Anniversary to Bailey’s mom and dad. Stay safe and warm Brian.
Just wait out the stomr inside…that goes for both people and kitties!
(sigh) We wish winter would go away as much as you do!
Stay warm and safe!!
We’re really made at our Mom….she forgot to change the calendar page and we just saw your pawsome picture for the weekend. BAADDD Mom!!!
The Florida Furkids
We hope the weather guessers are wrong, Brian, and you don’t get that big storm. Though this winter has been pretty wacky.
Haha! It sounds like our forecast, except our dividing line is always 95. If we get less than what they guess at, then the Chesapeake Bay is to blame!
Messees the weather guessers is as good there as they is here…
Wes supposed to has a major storm too, today, tomorrow or the next day…
keeps your claws crossed that yours is wrong andmine is too!
Kisses
Nellie
Where will it all end Brian, this has been an awful Winter. We hope that prediction is wrong.
Happy anniversary to your friends.
Dip and Elliot x
We have a lot of water of here 🙁
Brian, I missed that major stink eye yesterday cause me and brother and mommy were busy away from here till late. But here I am..enjoying the stink eye and we here in East TN. Knoxville area are getting dire forecasts too. But they keep piling on with each day that passes with nothing. Since mom and I got up this morning there is sunshine. But I do believe there will be some snow here tomorrow. We MUST get to University tomorrow for Brother. No ifs ands or buts about it so we are concerned.
We are so tired of winter. Scylla is headed over to snuggle with you.
Keep warm , buddy!! Over here we have an excess of water!! 🙁 Great to see you on the CB calendar 🙂
