Hello out there! It’s me Dolly with the Saturday report, and I am happy to report that I am happy! Guess why I am a happy kitty. Because I’ve got my Mommy properly trained, and that is a good thing. Let me tell you what I’m talking about. I love to go for walks, but to be clear, I love to go for walks when someone carries me around. Every once in a while my Dad will pick me up and carry me around the house and I really have the best time and I purr the whole time. So, the stage is set for the rest of my story.
I know you will find this hard to believe, but I can be just a wee bit pushy. Back in the big bathroom we have a bonus food bowl and even though it is supposed to be a just-in-case bowl, you know, just in case the others end up empty, we all kind of like that bowl. Anyways, Sister Zoe really does like that bonus bowl lots. Every morning my Mom washes that bowl and refills it for us. Sister Zoe is usually right there waiting in the Me First line. Well, I started going over and I would push her out of the way with my head, and then proceed to chow down.
My Mom didn’t think that was quite fair to Sister Zoe, so she was telling me that it just wasn’t the polite thing to do. Of course I wasn’t listening, that would be way too easy. So in the mornings when Mom puts the bonus food bowl down and I head over to push Sister Zoe out of the way, Mom picks me up and takes me for a walk through the house instead. Mom finally caught on and I totally love it. She carries me out front and I get to look out the front door and then sometimes I get to look out the back doors too. We tour through the living room, dining room and kitchen too. Yes, I know, I’ve been in all of those rooms plenty of times. But there is nothing better than being carried through and getting loved on at the same time. Thanks Mom, that gives me a great big happy…and Sister Zoe seems pretty pleased with the whole thing too.
I’d like to stay and chat, but I think I hear the bonus bowl going down. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I will see you next time. Have a wonderful weekend! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
You really have things worked out, Sister Dolly. It’s the best of both worlds – being loved on AND being walked around.
Happy Caturday and enjoy your walkabout.
XOXO
LOL! You are one great trainer, Sister Dolly! Purrs and headbutts!
My human enjoys walking around with me and showing me stuff – in fact, I think she enjoys it more than I do!
You do look happy, Dolly, and we’re glad you’re getting some lovely walks in.
By the way, we love Brian’s photo in the CB calendar this weekend!
Purrs,
The Chans
Ha! Good for you, Sister Dolly. You surely do have your mom trained well — heh heh.
We are so pleased you get a walk about with mum that you enjoy so much Dolly. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
What a smart and nice mommy you have. We don’t like to be carried too much but we do like laps:)
its always good when they get the idea,xx Speedy
Sister Dolly, you have the Mom trained so well. We have our Mom fairly well trained. She doesn’t take us for walks but she might try that trick. The only trouble is that we don’t like to be carried. Anyway, Dolly you are one smart kitty. Take care.
You have got your Mum very well trained Dolly – and look at the exercise you get to enjoy from her arms! We bet Zoe enjoys her peaceful meals more too.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Lucy loves to be carried away too (especially like a baby)
Congratulations Dolly, to the properly trained Mom. Have a super weekend with a lot of treats and love :o)
It sounds like you have your Mom trained just right! We love the story of you getting to go on walks.
What a lovely story Dolly! You sure are one clever kitty!
A bonus bowl! That is something we are going to have to look into! Neither one of us is crazy about going on walks like that but if Mom takes us over to the slider, we get to look outside and we will stay in her arms.
What a pleasant surprise to see Brian’s cute face staring at us on the CB calendar this morning!
Sister Dolly! YOU are the cat’s meow! YOU are the smartest most clever girlcat EVER! AND, you and your sisters and brother Brian have it MADE! xxooxx
That is a neat trick, get your walk and then come back and chow down later.
We love yer Bonus Bowl Walk. Sometimes TBT carries us around so we see things in a differnt way.
Tell Brian Happy Calendar Day from us!
Sometimes you have to be pushy to help train your humans into doing what you want. Congrats on getting her trained so well 🙂
Well that is very smart of you to do!
Dolly you have a special mom I wish I had a bonus bowl… Mom counts every morsel I get.
Hugs madi your bfff
You have your mum trained very well. I now see where I am going wrong, and when my mum next takes me for a walk in the fields I shall get her to carry me too.
Bonus bowls? Your mom is one smart cookie!
Well done Dolly training your mom. It’s a fun way to see stuff and have bonding time.
I’m glad you have a great big happy, Dolly!
Every morning, I’ll wait by the bedroom door for Mommy. When she opens the door slightly, I push my way in and wait to be carried. Then I start purring (and drooling) while Mommy carries me around the bedroom. It’s our morning routine and we love it!
Do you drool on your Mommy when she’s carrying you around? 😀
…Tutu
Bwaa! Haa!! Haa!! Yous trained your Mommy furry well Dolly!
That would makes mes purr too!
Kisses
Nellie
Sister Dolly we think that is all a win win win situation. YOU get to see things all from different views and Zoe gets to eat and your Mom gets all of your purrs!
Happy walkies Dolly AND I’m glad you heard the bonus bowl – HURRY BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE FINDS IT!
Hugs, Sam
Good job training your mom, Dolly. It sounds like you are getting some well-deserved love and attention. Tell Brian that we think he looked very handsome on the CB Calendar today, and since it is the weekend, he gets to be there again tomorrow. Excellent! Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Yep sounds like you’ve got her trained pretty good.
Dolly, something tells us that you purposely push Zoe away from the food bowl just so you get your walkies with your mom. It’s not that you want the food…you want the walkies. You are are very smart girl.
How fun, Dolly! It sounds like fun to get walked around the house with your mom, look outdoors and get loved on. It’s great to have a well trained mom!

It seems you’re smart AND happy, Dolly! What a great Mom you have (good job with that training!). 🙂
You know how to train ‘em! Pop sometimes walks me around. At first, I got nervous when he picked me up and walked but now I’m at ease. Of course, we don’t have much condo to walk through.
Sister Dolly what a clever and adorable way to have your Mom take you for a tour around the house, you are such a smart girl!!
This sounds like a “win win” situation. Nice job girls!
xxoo
Stopping by to wish Brian a Happy Calendar Cat weekend!
You’re a very smart lady cat.
Oh my Cod, Dolly! That is one of the cutest things we’ve heard!
Dolly, we are thinking of making you an honourary chihuahua as we are pushy, like to pinch each other’s food and love being carried around 🙂
Sigh, it takes so long to train those humans….
Dip and Elliot x
That is interesting. My kitties don’t like to be carried around much. Glad you do so your sister can get some food.
Pleased to hear the training is paying off!
You sure have trained your mom-person good 🙂
XOXO
Good for you Dolly; it sounds like you have your Mom properly trained. It is so funny that she carries you around. Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S)
