Hello everyone! I sure hope you managed to have a great weekend, we did. Do you know what we did? We did not much of anything and we enjoyed every minute of not doing it. Half of the weekend here was bright, sunny and warm, the other half was wet and yucky. But hey, we’ll take 50/50 compared to what we’ve had up to this point.
There was some tree stuff going on though. We have a Bradford Pear tree in the backyard and it was still naked. Then the next time I looked out it was filled with bright white blooms. Seriously, it just happened all so quick it was almost magical.
And then some flowers appeared too. My friend Nerissa from Nerissa’s Life shared his Field of Flowers Award with us.
As Nerissa said on his blog, you can’t have too many flowers! It’s true, especially since we really don’t have a garden. I think most everyone knows Nerissa, but if you don’t then you really are missing out on some darn cool stuff. Thanks pal for sharing with us, we appreciate you!!!
That’s pretty much our exciting weekend. I hope the week brings you fun and joy. Don’t forget to join us for the Opt-to-Adopt Blog Hop tomorrow. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Concatulations on your award, Brian! I hope it helps spring hurry up!
50/50 not’s bad, at least youz got some sun. Big Concat’s guy’s. You deserve every award going 🙂 xxoxxx

YAY on the award!!! We’re looking for some Spring here too….so far NUTHIN! We have Bradford pears down our driveway and no sign of that beautiful white flower yet. Depressing….and snow in the forecast tomorrow isn’t helping!
Hugs, Sammy
not much of anything.. sounds great to me!
Brian, you sure are looking very handsome. We love doing nothing and we did enjoy Saturday doing a little yard work. We were a big help to the Person. Hope all of you have a great week.
Awwww lovely Brian!! Yay for your magical tree!!! Glad you had a restful weekend too!

I agree with you, sometimes it is like magic. Our old pear tree got flowers too overnight. Have a great monday and concatulations to your award. It’s true you can’t have enough flowers :o)
Our weather was 50/50 too. I didn’t do much except for a little bit of shopping. Concats on the awards Brian!
Glad you have something blooming where you are! The daffodils, tulips, and hellebore are coming up in our yard, but nothing blooming yet. We still have some cold nights.
We stopped receiving email notices of your blog posts and thought you weren’t posting for some reason. Then I actually came to your blog, saw that you were posting as usual, and re-subscribed.
Congratulations on your award!

We had 80/20 nice/yucky weekend. 50/50 is not bad at all and how nice you got beautiful blooms!
Congratulations on your award. Have a great new week!
glad to hear you enjoyed doing nothing all weekend long. it pretty much sums up what we did too. but oh we did some taxing job of watching/snoopervising the humans as they pulled weeds in the backyard. such a backbreaking job for us kitties.
Concatulations on the award AND the flowers outside! We are still waiting for those over here!
Yay and congrats on the award! So sorry, we missed you getting this because we nominated you too! You REALLY deserve it 🙂
Flowers? We just got more snow???
So handsome. I bet those flowers on the tree are pretty. Congrats on your award.
We are so jealous, because you have flowers and greenery in your yard – we don’t, it is still too cold in our yard. Congrats on your lovely award!

Brian we did a whole lot of nuffin too this past weekend and we all enjoyed it too! Mom is making all kinds of work outside in the dirt, we can’t go out there and it makes us wonder why Mom has to be out there if we can’t! She muttering something about flowers though.
Concats on your award. It is bright and cheerful.
Sometimes a weekend of nothing is a good thing – gives one time to recharge:) That is such a pretty award from Nerissa – our pear trees are starting to bud but it will be a while before we have any flowers.
Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning

Those are some beautiful flowers! Concatulations! We enjoy doing as much of that Not-Much as we can, and not on just the weekends!
Hugs you guys 🙂
The daffodils have started blooming here, and mom saw some buds on the small lilac bush/tree. The streets in our neighborhood (and a lot of the city) are lined with Bradford pear trees. They are beautiful when they are in bloom, but they make mom miserable. She gets all snotty and coughy, and her eyes get all watery.
WE have some spring spronging here too sweet Brian.
What could be more perfect than watching out of the window as Spring touches her magic wand and brings forth the flowers! Sounds like an awesome reason to celebrate with some special treats!
Nice award. Concats and as always well-deserved. We have some daffodils blooming the last few days and then they got buried under three inches of snow that fell today. Argh! Luckily, it is already melting. Winter weather…a pox upon thee! XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
