Sister Saturday with Lounging Gracie

Brian's Home, adopt cats, we deserve it!

Hello everyone!  It sure has been busy here with two sick sisters.  Sister Zoe is pretty independent, but Sister Sascha requires a little more of my attention.  If you’re new here, you may not know this, but for the longest time Sister Sascha was a shy one.  She was scared of the other kitties.  So when I came to live here I decided to take her under my paw and get her out of her shell.  The poor gal was afraid to go eat if another kitty was around.  So I used to sit behind her standing guard so none of the others would bother her at mealtime.  I would go sit by her wherever she was so that she felt safe.  I had her back, so to speak.

Then when I was so sick after Thanksgiving, Sister Sascha was literally right there by my side, no matter where I went she went with me.  When I came home from the hospital after ten long days, Sascha was right there to greet me and look after me until the all better showed up again.  To this day, if I have an asthma attack she comes running to check on me.  So now, it’s my turn, Sister Sascha has been sick and I’ve been right there with her.  We really are BFFs and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

So, I’m going to lounge for a while since Sister Sascha is snoozing.  Have a fun weekend everyone!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip!  Later!

Over here, if anycat (or Human) were to “bully” Ling, Cosmo would emerge from wherever he was to make sure she’s okay. He’s her big brofur! 🙂

It’s great to be there for a sick sister or a brother. That’s what siblings are fore and some two-legged siblings should act like you. All my best wishes for a fast recovery and a good weekend

Sending some get well purrs for Sascha and Zoe. We didn’t know they were sick. (broken innernets this week)

We’re sure you make an excellent nursemaid, Gracie. You’ve obviously earned a nice lounge on the sofa. Enjoy!

It so nice to hear that the girls are looking out for each other. It sounds like a tough schedule for dispensing meds there.
Hope Sister Sascha is better soon- she looks so pretty on the Cats of the CB Calendar.
