Thankful Thursday: Male Bonding Time with Dad

Brian's Home. Adopt cats, we deserve it!
One thing is certain, the girls out number the boys here!  Counting my Mom there are 7 girts, and counting my Dad there are 2 boys.  It’s important that Dad and I spend lots of time together since us guys understand each other.

Guy things are very important and we know that the gals really don’t understand, but that is quite alright.  That’s why they are called guy things.  We do have fun together and Dad and I both look forward to spending some just us time.

It is hard to decide what to do first, so we just take a laid back attitude and let it happen.   Sometimes we like to fall asleep while watching the television.  We sometimes snore even though we tell the girls we are wide awake.  Another fun thing is to pretend like we don’t hear the girls when they are talking to us.  Oh, and sometimes we both like to scatter our toys around the house so Mom will have something to pick up.  Best though is having lots of extra treats after the girls have retired for the night.

I love spending guy time with my Dad and I am thankful that he loves spending time with me too!  Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!!  More Forever Homes More Often!  Purrrrr! Zip! Later!

Male bonding time is the best!
Marc is missing out on it now that the girls out number the boys – although he is trying to make a boy out of the Lucy!
Love the shot of you two dudes!

Brian, it sure is good to see you with your Dad, Terry. So glad you two have each other with all those women around. Hope all of you have a fantastic day.

I agree Brian…….”man time” is impawtant – we guys understand each other in a way those girly girls just don’t QUITE “get”…….on the other hand, Mom’s lap is much more comfy so I appreciate HER for other kinds of things! Enjoy your Dad time – we guys have to stick together!

    Hugs, Sammy

Brian, MomKatt & I totally agree about how awesome your Dad is! And he brought us Ray & Rachel, too! Hard to believe it’ll be a year June 15!

Give him our love and I’m sending lots of headbonks! If it hadn’t been for him, I’d never have found my furever home!

    Purrz!

Brian, that sounds just like our house and me and Dad, especially that snoring part and ignoring the girls when they talk to us. Only one difference…one more girl here. Fun read for me. Your pal, Mauricio

Brian, you and your dad certainly are sorely outnumbered in the gender department, so it’s good to see you get lots of bonding time with each other. 🙂

BTW, it’s true about males understanding other males and females understanding other females. There were lots of times that our human and angel Annie would just look at each other, when Nicki was doing something silly boy-ish, and no “words” were needed between them, they just understood, female to female. LOL.

Brian this is really funny but just yesterday Mom was thinking “wow Brian is the only boy in a houseful of girls” NO KIDDING. Then your post with ‘boy time’ with your Dad. That is amazing! Sounds like you two have a great time bonding!! 🙂

Guy time is so important. D and I have many special times together too. M is good for playing and feeding me, and snuggling in bed, but D is my favorite guy. He has the bestest lap and clips my nails. i’ll let him do anything for me and with me.

My cat bro Bert is alone in a sea of women. I think he gets tired of it sometimes. He could use a male bonding friend.

You are so lucky to have such a nice Dad – male bonding is important! And we all think that after bedtime snacktime sounds great!!! We are going to see if we can get our Dad to give us each a special Night with Dad.

Eric used to have lots of guy time with my dad but I am more of a mum’s boy. Dad keeps inviting me to spend time with him and I do try to share myself between them because I know he misses his cuddles. Sounds like you and your dad have a great time.

Dad time is special. Our cat Buddy loves to keep dad’s feet warm when he watches tv and occasionally dad shares some spray can whip cream as a treat as well.

Guy time is very important! And lots of fun. We’re glad we’re a bit better balanced around here with 5 girls counting Mumsy and 4 guys counting CatDaddy Junior.
    You guys…enjoy!

Brian guy time is very important indeed!! the four feline girls and myself add up to 5 and the two boy pups and the three boy sheep and Fozziedad up to 6 so we girls are outnumbered by the guys! of course being feline they still seem to have the bulk of the power 😉 hugs Fozziemum..love the pic 🙂 xx

It’s good that you and dad have each other! All those women? Haha – well – I know we aren’t easy to live with. But sooo worth it. 😉
    xo Catherine
