Note: We are having a tough time visiting your blogs as e are having major internet problems. It takes about 14 minutes to load a blog page. AT&T stinks in our area.
Before I start I just wanted to remind everyone that today is the last day of our fundraiser to help dear sweet Scuttles.
Now then, I know you’ve seen pictures of all of us helping Dad do our blog posts and you’ve seen pictures of me sitting on Dad’s lap. Here’s the back story of how I often help the Dad with the blog stuff.
Usually when Dad does our blog posts he sits on the chase part of the big couch. I always know when he is going to start our work because he gets out the MacBook, sits it on the chase, and paws the on button. That, you see, is my clue that help is needed. I can be far away in another part of the house and I can hear that thing coming on. As soon as Dad sits down I hurry, jump up on the couch, and plant myself right in the middle of the Dad’s lap.
It is so important that I get him off to a good start and set the mood for the upcoming topics. It really is kind of funny because sometimes Dad thinks he can transcribe for us one handed, but it never really works out very good. So Dad has to do the right thing and pet me for a long, long while. When I think he has properly received all the good material then I slowly depart to my perch where you see me now.
Now I know that Dad could probably get through it without my help, but I don’t think I should take any chances. So far it has all worked out pretty good. How about you? How do you help make sure that your posts get properly done???
Have a fun weekend everyone, and happy blogging! Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
I know for sure my human could not possibly do anything without my help! Really, she is pretty incompetent without a kitty around.
Well sometimes I wish I had a cat to help me get my work done! 😉
A helping paw is what is needed. You are so right. Without supaw-vision nothing would get done around here. You got to keep on top of the staff in our crib. Have a super Saturday.
best wishes Molly
You kitties sure are a lot of help to the Dad. We know he appreciates all that a lot. We help our Person too just by staring at her from our tree. We quietly tell her just what to put on the blog. She has to go outside to get help from all the cats out there too.
You all have a great day.
don’t listen to dad.. he can’t do it without you!
Hannah is always very helpful to Mum she when jumps on the desk (Hannah not Mum!) and stands right in the middle of the desk in front of the screen. Mum gets lots of neck exercises trying to catch a glimpse of what she is typing.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
I lay in mom’s arms as much as possible and on her hands and the laptop as much as possible so that my wonderful Marty Karma goes through all her posts and she has Marty loves allllllll over her 🙂
You don’t want to ruin a good thing, so keep up with that great routine.
Minchie sits in front of the computer monitor giving Mom the stink eye until she gets our posts done.
Have a fun weekend everyone!
I hope my mom will be grateful when I sit on her lap too now :o) Bet Mark Twain and Walter Scot became famous because they had a cat on their lap while writing. Have a great caturday!
Great description of how you help your Dad! We don’t have a blog, we do the Flickr account. Anyway, our Gracie and Millie have no interest in the computer. I guess they trust me to post good photos of them (I run the account). 🙂

Always there to lend a helping paw, nice. And one handed typing can be done, a year and a half it has been done here, gets easier lol
We like to sit right next to our dad when he fires up his Macbook, too! We know it really helps!
Ugh! Hoping your internet woes are remedied soon! That’s the WORST!
Sister Dolly, looks like you used to be a kitty secretary! Paws up to you!

Hugs madi your bfff
Hi Dolly, we have had to resort to pawing our on post and then having Mommy correct the misspellings. Socks is the best at using the keyboard. The rest of us don’t do so good.
Sister Dolly, have I mentioned to you lately how gorgeous you are? Those eyes! And you furs are so beautiful in color. You are a gorgeous feminine girl. I know your Dad is grateful for all of the help you give him. Petting you gets the words straight in his mind and most of all, he is able to tell what the topic will be.
xxoox
Wishing your Internet woes be gone. We all need a furry assistant but my boys are lazy.
Your dad must be grateful for all your help. I don’t think he would manage very well without it.
