Hello everyone, guess who is bored? Me, that’s who! Oh, it’s not that there isn’t plenty to do around here, it’s that I had gotten bored with my wet food and ended up with the itchies again.
Seriously, I either pulled some of my lush furs out or they fell out on their own. One part of my back leg had a couple of completely bald spots. We’re not sure what could have started it this time. You see, I was a bit bored with some of my wet food so I asked for a little bit of what Brother Brian was having. Hey, it was pretty good so I had some more for several days in a row. Then my Mom noticed the fur problem and made sure my Dad saw it too.
You might recall that I do take a regular dose of prednisone for my itchies and it does seem to help. So, we don’t know if I had some type of food allergic reaction, or seasonal itch due to high pollen, or if it is some type of stress situation. But, now that I’m back to eating my same old boring menu, it seems to have gotten better once again. The food always smells better on the other side of the room!
Don’t get me wrong, most of the time I do like my wet food meal, but every once in a while I get in one of those “turn up da nose” moods. Usually, that’s when I would be offered something different. Guess that’s not going to happen anymore. We will see what happens. At the same time this last episode started I got a postcard from our nice Vet lady inviting me to come see her for my annual stuff. Coincidence? I think not!
Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Zoe, when I turn up my nose at my canned food, you know what my human does? She brings home KFC and shares it with me! I’m not sure that KFC is any better for you, but I’m just saying that maybe you could work this whole thing to better advantage.
Oh no poor you Zoe. Does that mean a trip to the blood stealers? We send healing vibes and POTP. Allergies really do suck. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Hi there Zoe, sorry to hear you have the itchies. Several of us have that too. Our dog really has it. We sure send lots of purrs that those darn itchies go away. Hope all of you have a wonderful week end.
Oh no….we’re sorry the itchies are back. We hope you feel better soon.
The Florida Furkids
Our Jasmine gets the itches, too. She gets an allergy pill in her food and it helps a lot, Mom has to hide it well.
We hope you get better soon because itches are miserable.
~ The Bunch
Zoe sweetie we have a double whammy we are feline females makes us twice as finicky.
I love cod sole shrimp and could eat my weight in it…but mom only lets me have a little at a time…because she says I have already eaten my weight in it.
Hugs
Madi and I hope the itches leave soon
Zoe, I understand your feelings. I think my food is boring too, even when Mom changed the bowl ( she thinks I’m an idiot). I hope the itches will disappear soon and that pollen-stuff too, so you can enjoy the spring. Have a good caturday!
Uh-oh…hope your food/fur problem can be resolved soon.
We love to get in those “turn up da nose” moods because then Mom starts to panic and we get some pretty nommy foods to try. Have a great holiday weekend!
Oh Miss Zoe, I hope you become itchiless soon! Not nice! xx
Oh Zoe, sometimes it is so hard to do what is good for us. Allergies can be tricky. Mommy has dealt with allergies with several of our predecessors. Hope the VET can help you get them back under control so you can grow your lovely furs back. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Blah to the itchies, Cassie has it too, only a steroid shot works, so no changing her diet what so ever.
Oh Zoe not the itchies!
We hope they go away soon.
Noodle
We hope your itches go away Zoe.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Oh Zoe 🙁 meowwwww
It’s pretty annoying, isn’t it, not to be able to eat what you want when you want? But still, you seem to have it pretty good, Zoe, so not much to complain about, really!
Purrs,
The Chans

Oh bless you I hope it clears up quickly and doesn’t need a visit to the dreaded vet place x
Itchies are no fun whatever the cause. Hope your vet has you itch-free soon!
Oh, Zoe! We hope your itchies go away soon!
Oh Zoe, you and I take so much prednisone that we could write a book! Love, Cody
Well, losing fur for the summer might not be a bad idea, but I think you look better with fur, so hope it was just the food!
You poor sweetie. I sure hope you get feeling better!
xo Catherine
I hope it gets better soon. Seems like there is more stuff outside to be allergic to this year around here at least. Enjoy your weekend.
I just read Sparkle’s comment and am way jealous. If I don’t eat my grain-free gut rot, TW refuses to give me anything else. Humans like her shouldn’t be allowed to have cats. I’m sorry you got the itchies, Sister Zoe, and even sorrier the evil vet lady is stalking you.
Zoe, I get the itchies too. We thought it might be my foods that were causing it, but now we think it’s seasonal. It seems to be worse in the spring and fall. I hope your boring food helps with your itchies. ~Ernie
Zoe, we sure hope the itchies go away and your furs get all better. We don’t like to eat the same thing all the time either. Mom says that Phantom turns his nose up to just about everything:(
Happy weekend.
Woos – Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
grrrrr…that stinks! However, itchies aren’t any fun, either.
Zoey, The Human can never figure out what I am going to be willing to eat. Fortunately, I don’t have allergies, but I get bored or frustrated with my foods and sometimes I just stop eating! So then she opens can after can–it’s sort of funny, except she gets kinda upset. I can’t even explain why I am like this–it’s just my nature to be uncooperative I guess. I am glad you are better now that you are back to your same food, even if it is a little dull. XOXOXOXO
Ooh, we are hopin the fur grows back…
Oh Sister Zoe, so good to see you! We are sorry to hear that your itchies have been bothering you though and hope that everything will feel better ASAP, purrs to you sweetie!
I am happy the itchies started to go away when you ate your own food again. Maybe another flavor of it would keep you happy? You do look adorable, though, even when you are bored.
Ah Sister Zoe you & Nylablue are so alike. She always wants what she can not have food wise….I am glad your Mon & Dad caught the problem tho & you are over the ‘itches’.
There HAS been terrible pollen down your way so it could have added to the problem…oh my I sound like a Vet 😉
I hope you are feeling beter & try to stick to your diet….we do not want you itchy again!!
Love Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue xoxoxo
