Hello everyone! Can you tell I’m up at the top looking down on my landing??? Well, I am, and that landing spot has been pretty busy over the last week or two. How’s a girl supposed to get her rest?
You might remember that Sister Zoe was waiting and waiting for me down at the landing step. Well, I finally did run down to greet her, but she didn’t run away, at least not too far. That crazy girl only backed down one step. Doesn’t she know that she is supposed to be afraid of me? I gave her several meows and she just sat there starring at me. My tail wasn’t puffed up either and Dad said we were having a reasonable conversation. That lack of tail puffing and angry shouting was a bit of a first for me and Dad told me I did pretty good.
Then guess what else happened? Brother Brian and I played a game of whappy paw through the gate. Another first. Although the Mom said it didn’t sound overly friendly and she wasn’t too happy that we decided to play at 4:30 in the morning. We did play and nobody got hurt. Hey, if I’m going to practice with the others I have to do it when the opportunity is there.
Then, Sister Dolly was laying on the top step waiting for me, so I ran to greet her too. Unfortunately she ran away when I came running down the steps so I really didn’t have a chance to talk to her. But again, I didn’t have that tail puffy thing going on.
Oh well, Dad says I need to keep practicing, so practice I will. Okay, who is going to be the next volunteer???
Have a great Saturday everyone and remember, adopt cats, we it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
No puffy tail is good! The cats here are a little hissy about my being here, but they clearly have no intention of hurting me, not even the growly tortie. In fact, the tortie (Binga) and I had an impromptu treat party and we were even touching with no complaining! I think I will be friends with them fairly soon!
We agree no puffy tail is good and onwards and upwards we say. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
It sounds like you’re making HUGE progress!
Purrs,
The Chans

Oh Precious, it sounds like you are getting a tiny bit used to other cats. It is so hard for you, I know. Somewhere you have learned that you just can trust other cats. We are just glad that you have such a wonderful home and peeps that understand you. Happy Saturday to you.

Ahhhh what a darling picture. Sounds like you are all taking it slowly walking softly on itty bitty kitty paws.
Hugs madi your bfff
Good job at playing with resorting to fluffy tail. With a little more practice you may forget how to fluff your tail and just have lots of fun with Brian and the others. But maybe you should wait until 6:30 a.m. to practice. I find that to be the earliest time when my humans aren’t too annoyed by being disturbed.
I think you are doing a great job practicing Precious! You are making progress!
Please tell Dad I left a reply to his comment on the cat litter post with some answers that address his valid concern!
(((hugs)))
Step by step, progress happens. Wishing you a relaxing weekend and thanks for your purrs for our boys.

Precious, you know what they say about practice….you practice until purrfect! And we’re sure you’ll be purrfect soon!
A little whappy paw is fun…my kitties do that to me sometimes.
I’m glad you’re finally making progress. You have the best humans in the world so you’re gonna have to learn to live with their family. Sometimes though you have to take your time.
Not puffing up that tail is a good thing, Precious – keep up the good work and we bet you will have lots of fun with those other kitties.
