Hello everyone. Today I need to ask a favor of you and I would most appreciative too. You see, my Sister Zoe is in need of some purrs, prayers, woofs and anything else you can send her way.
Sister Zoe was doing so good and had quit pulling our her furs, then she lost interest in eating much. She did weigh 11.2 pounds and is now down to 9.2 pounds, so she has lost two pounds. The loss of appetite is a known side effect of the medicine she was taking to help her quit pulling out her furs. She has had blood work to check her liver values and to check for diabetes, and everything checks out fine. On Saturday our Dad took her to our regular vet and she was given fluids, B12 and some a/d Critical Care food, which she has been eating. She really needs to start eating again and gain some of that weight back.
Our wonderful friends from over at The Cat on My Head shared their One Lovely Blog Award with us. Thanks gang, we think you have One Lovely Blog too and we’ve all been having fun with that Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.
That’s it for now, keep those purrs coming for Sister Zoe please. Remember, adopt cats, we deserve it!!!!! More Forever Homes More Often! Purrrrr! Zip! Later!
Poor Zoe, I am sending her my best rumbly purrs. Is she on an SSRI for the fur pulling? If so, sometimes there’s a psychogenic nausea with that stuff and that will put a puss off their food. Years ago, the ape tells me they used to use Ovarid for this problem. Congratulations on your award!

I am sorry you have lost your appetite and are losing weight Sister Zoe. Can your vet give you some appetite stimulants. I take one every 48 hours because I didn’t want to eat and it is helping me to eat some food.
Please try to eat Sister Zoe and we will purr for you to take a few more bites of food every day.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Oh no. Poor, dear Zoe. That’s a lot of weight loss. Hopefully, she’ll continue to eat the a/d. I wonder if taking an anti nausea medicine would help. Years ago, I had a kitty with cancer and the vet gave me syringes with the anti nausea medicine that I would just put in the scruff of his neck. Well, I have no doubt she’s getting the best care. I’m so glad her blood test was all ok.
Congrats on the well deserved award! Great pic of Brian!
Oh, we’re sorry to learn Zoe isn’t eating like she needs to. We hope she will get her appetite back and feel better.
Congrats on the award.
Oh noooo…. Zoe, I cross my paws and I hope you can start to eat again soon. I hope the meds will help and nothing is seriously wrong with you. Send you a big hug, dear Zoey.
